My man Ansbach avenging his master and clearing the allegations, what a chad. And you have to give Mohg credit, dude may have created a blood cult to worship the formless mother, but he had to have been a good leader to have such a loyal warrior like Ansbach.
Well he also still made lunatics like Varre, Okina, Nerijus and Eleonora maybe it's just Ansbach that is a great guy
Ansbach is such a cool NPC. Mohg should've had him recruiting people!

The great irony of this storyline; Mohg kidnapped Miquella to be his consort, Miquella took Mohg's corpse to make it into HIS consort. Glorious.

Mohg was guided by the outer god to become an Elden Lord and build the Mohgwyn dynasty.
In order to do that, he needs to kidnap an empyrean to become the vessel of formless mother , just like his mother is the vessel of Elden ring.Miquella is the only foreseeable option. Malenia has STD, Ranni is a doll. They both can't bear children to continue the new religion of formless mother.
No children=No new vessel for the ring.
He can't marry his own mother. Like many famous homosexual men in the the history, he hate her.
During the kidnapping, Mohg got brainwashed by Miquella and fell in love with him. Miquella might do it by accident because he is in slumber or an act in self-defense.
Later, Miquella's body became a Mohg Fleshlight, and Miquella also just uses Mohg's nihh (power) to enter the shadow realm.

I can't be the only one who thought of the quest line from Ds2 where you either side with Pate or Creighton since you have to chose one side as well here.

It seems Miquella be-spelled thier followers to bring them all under their control, as I assumed a long time ago.
All this does is make me want an ending where we really revive Mohg. And he ends up using Miquella to become The Lord of Blood. We usher in a new age of love that is genuine and isn’t forced. Id love it if we can talk to Mohg as the covenant leader as there is cut data that shows you can talk to him, and we haven’t had a boss as the covenant leader since DS1

This is one of the reasons that disappointed me in this DLC - there are no new endings. Players have long assumed that there will be new endings. For example, the “era of dragons,” since our character can eat dragon hearts, which means that sooner or later he himself will become a dragon. or “the era of blood” since the Formless Mother is another god, and if we can have endings for the god of the Golden Order, the God of the Moon and the God of Frenzied Flame, then why can’t we have such an ending?
@@alinakirill who's to say there won't be another dlc to add this ending ? I mean heck, for all we know Fromsoft might be cooking again, especially swamp because Miyazaki has unhealthy obsession with them.
Hmmm, from what it sounds like from all the NPCs, Miquella seems to be so dangerous not because he has truly malicious intentions but because he's so pure and kind as he is a child, a smart one yes but cursed forever to be a child one of the most innocent states of a human as well as one of the most volatile where emotions run rampant and you lack a certain understanding as well as a simplicity with how you view things, it makes sense then that his older personality St. Trina can understand how their actions are flawed and why Miquella would have discarded her for the disagreement being stubborn and too immature ti truly realize how awful this plan will go for Miquella themselves as well as potentially those around them, why a simple promise to someone would be so iron bound in his soul that he'd do anything and break any rule to make it come true, the story of Miquella is truly tragic and adorable in only a way a child's fairy tale could be.....

Ansbach wound up being one of my favorite NPCs out of the DLC. The irony of the servant of a seemingly evil lord of blood being the most rational and put together of all the others and the one who winds up sticking with you to the very end (along with Thiollier, of course). Meanwhile, the seemingly good and bright Needle Knight Leda wins up being a paranoid, bloodthirsty backstabber. It's wonderful.
You can’t even imagine how I want to kill final boss now to show Miquella that whatever he doing is nothing against Maidenless

Damn the gank squad is so much cooler with the npc summons. Running blind I failed the quest so I only got the random sanguine noble as help. I loved the OST of the fight and the dialogue, but having to to a 5v2 with npcs that can heal and have like 8k HP was just terrible
Thanks for including the final boss. Ansbach died right before the end and I was worried I missed some dialogue since Hornsent had some at the end of the Messmer fight. It seems that helping him fight Leda in the Specimen Storeroom is optional because I missed that but was able to finish his quest. Didn't get either of the rewards from that step, though.

I’m wondering who miquella is talking to at the very end. Is he talking to the tarnished? If he is will it have any bearing on the base game ending, if you choose to complete the DLC before the base game will we get a new ending?
Are they using the power of the formless mother residing in Mohg's blood to enter the land of shadow cause it is the mother of truths and craves wounds of which the land of shadows has plenty maybe?

Is the only way to get Ansbach’s armor set, weapon, and incantation by siding with him against Leda, or do you also get it when you kill him after you side with Leda?
If you side against him, his set will drop after the invasion.

I think I messed up and accidentally summoned hornsent in the messmer fight and his dialogue was different than yours after the fight now I don’t know where he is

@@rawrrr100I haven’t found where Ansbach is yet but while making my way thru Rauh Ancient ruins, I got invaded by hornsent and killed him. 1/2
I went to see Leda both before and after I killed hornsent and to leave him be for now bc he got revenge, and after I killed him she said that she’s decided that we do need to kill Ansbach so I think the quest might be fine just not sure yet haven’t made it far enough 2/2

It happened to me basically make leta go after hornsent then fight mesmer with hornsent, his summon needs to be in the arena, after the fight tp back to leda and she will forgive hornsent and go after angbach, the just go to his place in the storeroom and see the summon signs

Anyone not what to do if the game bugs out and these 2 idiot npcs (Thiollier and Ansbach) don't drop their gear after the fight? Did both quests, summoned both in the final fight, and now they are just dead on the ground with nothing to loot. Resting at the grace did nothing; leaving and coming back did nothing.

Unless I missed something, Miquella can't have Mohg's kids either, lol.
Then again, considering Mohg's upbringing, I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have any interest whatsoever of having heirs and descendants. And considering that the only things needed for a new order to be established are a God and their Consort/Lord, I believe that suited Mohg just fine.
@@pedroportela6476 Yes. Miquella can get pregnant. Miquella is an empyrean. He can change his body between male and female at his will. He is a boy, when he is Miquella and a girl, when he is St Trina. St Trina somehow is a little older than Miquella. Old enough to carry a baby.
