I love the way it subtly incorporates elements of the actual Aliens score.
"Will anybody hear me if I screeeeeam?" Brilliant!
Steve Rogers understood that reference.
It's like Alien and Les Miserables had a bastard child together. I love it.
Only this time, no one had to sell their hair to keep that bastard child fed.
They mostly sing at night ! Mostly '
Crap!!! You beat me by 4 years!!!!!!!!!!!!!
😂
The Fincher face flash. Y'all are just too good!
The Fincher reference cracked me up SO hard! :D
How does anyone this twisted come up with such genius? You guys are amazing! Game over man!
Still coming back to it for so many different reason
- Amazing song
- Excellent lyrics
- Badass Ripley and Newt
- To curse at Fincher
Does anyone else get teary eyes remembering seeing the movie for the first time?
When Bishop (supposedly) left Ripley and Nute behind when the shuttle wasn't there one of my family members in the lounge room shouted "that motherf"***r...!"
I do
Saw it at about 7 or 8 years old when my mom was touring the cities and towns of the USSR as an employee of the "house of culture" showing performances of folk songs by day, and at night - a bootleg copy of this film on a tv hooked up to a VHS player. That film is burned into my memory, and in a good way
i have teary eyes seeng this musical score for the first time :D
Replying to a super old comment but I do since the first time I watched it was with one of my best friend's. Unfortunately he died in 2018. ☹️ I miss him a lot.
This is beautiful, hilarious and touching all at once.
A true masterpiece.
Hahaha, the Sigourney Weaver impersonation is amazing.
Burke Pinney I've shown this to different groups of friends & on different occasions. Seems like regardless of who's present, the only people who don't burst out laughing when they hear "Ripley" turn out to be people who've never seen the movie.
this song is freaking amazing and tragic since we all know how things end, but my god this is great work
*standing ovation*
This video is perfection!!! All the movies you made into musicals are straight from my childhood.
these are manly musicals, you can cry , its ok
I saw this years and years ago it seems, and once again saw it now. I honestly don’t know anything about the aliens franchise, but this still brought back memories. The things you find unexpectedly. Love it!
Priceless! Loved how you incorporated all of Horner's major motifs.
One of them was Jerry Goldsmith's. Horner, used it again on Aliens.
in space, noone hears you sing
Peter Noone?
This is actually pretty heartfelt, with the exception of Ripley's voice
Ripley sounds like Homer Simpson. But other than that, the lyrics are astounding. And I'm amazed at how you all managed to make James Horner's music style into a musical. You guys are very talented. Keep it up!
LYRICS:
[Newt]
This creepy, awful place
Hopelessly marooned
Things that hug your face
After you're cocooned
Everyone is dead, but I'm supposed to be impressed
'Cause these soldiers have been thrown into the mix?
So take me where the monsters don't come bursting from your chest
Far away from LV426
[Ripley]
Lost in outer space
Fifty-seven years
The past has been erased
Wake up, and I'm in tears
They ask me to go back, I'll be protected by a team
They laugh at me and waste their time with tricks
Somehow, I'm gonna die, it's exactly like my dream
Welcome back to LV426
[Ripley] (over)
This frightened little girl
She looks to me to lead
I wonder, can I be
The warrior we need?
[Newt] (under)
She tries to keep me calm, Casey
She reminds me of my mom, Casey
[Newt]
Gorman is incompetent
Vasquaze misses Jake
Hicks does what he can
But how much more can Hudson take?
Burke works for the company
He's in it for the cash
Bishop seems okay to me
[Ripley]
He makes me think of Ash
[Newt]
Will it ever be okay for me to dream?
Will anybody hear me if I scream?
[Chorus, Newt, and Ripley]
Far away from LV426
(You came for me!)
Far away from LV426
(Punch it, Bishop!)
Far away from LV426
(Get away from her, you biiiiiiitch!)
Far away from LV426
[Newt]
I pray that there's no more
No last, horrific clincher
I wonder what's in store?
I guess it's up to Fincher
Sweet dreams for Bishop, Ripley, Newt and Hicks
At least for now, we're far away from LV426
horrifyingly sadly beautiful. thumbs up.
Am I alone in thinking, killing Newt off was a bad Idea before they even got started. Who thought that up? Someone please tell me?
newt didn't die...?
My Euphoria she died when they crashed in Alien 3
@@nickcarroll8565 oh okay, I was only thinking about aliens
I guess they didn't want to deal with the possible ramifications of having a little girl in a prison colony full of hardcore rapists.
Yep. Fucked the audience, and made the whole ordeal futile.
I wanted to laugh....I ended up really immersed in a great musical.
The flash of Fincher's face at the end was a nice touch, and if you're a Fincherphile, you'll know it's a reference to the end of Se7en when Gwyneth Paltrow's face is flashed on the screen for a heartbeat before Mills kills John Doe.
Such a classic film and a snazzy musical to boot. EXCELSIOR
I love how you incorporate the main theme into the pieces. Subtle yet recognizable
Great, but I would love to hear Hudson sing “game over man game over”
Right on! :D
Rest in peac Bill Paxton
True
What the fuck we gonna do now?
The only man to fight a terminator, predator and alien rest well bill you deserve it.
That poor girl. She falls asleep and never wakes up again.😅 And Bill Paxton didn't know that knofe stunt was coming in real life. That was real shock and terror on his face.
Wonderful! WONDERFUL!!
Love it!!! Can't stop hearing and laughing xDDD Will sing this in the Prometheus premiere xD
I don't know why I've only just discovered this channel but....subbed
Fantastic work🦁
I love that you went to the effort of hiring Kermit the Frog to sing for Ripley!
Laughter burst from my chest.
"I guess it´s up to Fincher" - I lost it there! :))))
This is so awesomely creative! I love it!
One of my favorite ALIENS-related parodies! Favorite line is the comment about David Fincher! Lol
Aliens is one of my favorite films, and has been for a long time. And I approve of this musical :)
Aliens is my favorite movie.
This musical made me want to cry its so beautiful.
This is only the second production of yours that I've seen. You got a like and a sub on the first! I am not regretting the sub at all. In fact I'm sharing with friends who I know will appreciate just how clever, and how much work must go into every video you do! Thanks from an appreciative Subber!
David Fincher at 2:44
LOL Using a man for Ripley's voice is HILARIOUS hahahahaha
fozzilla123 ....
I personally didn’t like it. Would’ve been much better with someone actually impersonating Sigourney Weaver. His Predator with an Arnold impersonator was brilliant...as well as the rest of the cast. The dude doing Billy cracked me up. But on the Aliens one...it just didn’t work for me.
@@Galactusz007 that is a nod to the fact that Ripley was initially a male character in the script.
And sadly...it's not far off
*PUNCH IT BISHOP*
Whoever did Ripley’s voice did her dirty
True, but damn it never stops being funny. Kermit the frog after a pack of smokes.
You guys just churn out brilliance with every upload.
I can’t be the only one who hears Kermit the frog when Ripley sings can I? 🤣😂
I cant get this song out of my head. 3 days now.
Jon & Al never disappoint - I’ve been waiting for you guys to do Aliens ever since I discovered your website a couple yrs ago.. BRAVO!! - Can’t wait to see what you come up with next / although we are running out of Epic 80’s flicks.. By the way - “You never said anything about an Android being on board - Why not?””
I won't lie, I cried watching this...
I thought this was a parody before I watched it, But damn. This is pretty good. And this is coming from someone who has been in a few musicals. Great job!
Lol, awesome, just awesome!! I am gonna have this on my playlist :)
These '80s movie musicals would be pretty good.
What makes them AWESOME is the way he incorporates the original scores, like at 0:40 where James Horner sneaks in.
Again, so hilarious!!! BRILLIANT!!
I was not expecting Ripley to sound so… manly.
Great how you've quoted bits of music from the film
Ripley's voice though!
i would love to see you guys do the movie critters
This is absolutely hilarious, love it.
I always thought Ripley had balls, and her singing voice proves that.
Lmao, the flash screen of fincher put me in hysterics.
Big Grundo who was Fincher in the Alien franchise?
@@fbomb7184 He's the director of Alien 3.
2:16 "get away from her you biiiiiiiiitch" XD
Outstanding.
This is awesome.
10 years on and I still occasionally come back :p
YES!!! I've been waiting for this one.
0:37 reminds me of "les miserables 2012" when Javert would call Valjean a number :)
Hahaha been waiting for this :D
why is ripley's voice so deep
Fantastic.
hahahaha, my wife thought that was really sigorney weaver.
it's not?
What?
genious :)
Ripley's voice omg...why!?!? 😖
I KNOW😨😨
get some humour.
Yay now to wait for the new legolambs video to come out
More solid gold!
Love the spliced single frame a la Fight Club when they mention Finch.
What a wholesome ending, I sure hope nothing bad happens to them in the sequel.
You make magic. Thank you.
one of the MOST famous and one of the best (german) youtubers of all time ;)
shes...GENIUS *-*
9 years later and I’ve come back to LV-426
This is canon from now on least to my mind
Where have these videos been all my life? 😂
great!
that's funny, this was just on tv this morning. GAME OVER MAN, GAME OVER!!!
Did no-one else catch the tragic irony of the “I guess it’s up to Fincher” line?
This musical needs a better Ripley impression. Since legolambs apparently had enough female singers to get a whole chorus going, one of them maybe should've done the Ripley part.
It's supposed to be funny.
+Volt World
I don't get the joke, though. I mean in the Arnold parodies he tries to sound like Arnold and yet in this parody he does nothing to sound like Sigourney Weaver.
JoshuaNorton That's why it's funny. This channel makes funny musicals. It can be funny through the lyrics or the voice acting. I mean seriously? Who would sing like Arnold for a musical? That's just silly.
+JoshuaNorton The point is Ripley has a slightly masculine voice and its exaggerated for comic effect.
It get's me everytime xD
+JoshuaNorton
I didn't like it either. The lyrics are funny, and the use of the score is great, but that voice is just bad.
excellent!!!!
i gotta say this would be like 4 times better if they didnt fuck up ripleys part, it was the only thing that kept me from sharing this. newts parts were amazing. can you please redo this with a serious ripley?
Already mentioned this to Omar Caal but I think using a man's voice might be a reference to the original screenplay where the character of Ripley was a man.
+MrMcBobb doesn't really matter, still
bob bill It does though, because they've not "fucked up" Ripley's part, they've actually fuckin' nailed it.
+MrMcBobb not sure if trolling now
victoryhorseman Nah man, deadly serious. Ripley was a man in the original Alien screenplay.
Lovely.
Awesome!!!
How the song should of ended: we're faaaar away from LB426......MOSTLY.
PUNCH IT, BISHOP!
That was great :D
brilliant.
YES. JUST, YES.
Haha, the Fincher flash cracked me up big time.
More please! :)
Yup!
Well done, but i thought Sigourneys voice was a bit over the top.
I actually really love this
Not bad, for a musical
Genius !
