    It is such a pleasure to finally be able to fill in some of the gaps in lore surrounding Queen Fee! I hope this answered some of your questions. Let me know if there are other, similarly mysterious characters you would like explored!
    Please consider supporting the Realms so I can continue sharing them with an ever-widening audience: patreon.com/EdGreenwood

      I have a question concerning the weave of magic on Toril, I know it's damaged and weakened due to the sundering events and the spell plague, along with a few other events. I would really appreciate your input on how someone could go about fixing it. Weave Knights and High Mages have abilities that allow them to "fix" areas of wild magic and dead magic, but both utilitizes the weave to do so which would weaken the over all weave on Toril. I have theories about how someone could do it. I'd really like to hear what you have to say about because you are the man, the lore master of the forgotten realms, who else would know how to fix the weave.
      Thank you very much.

    I actually just started a campaign set in Cormyr just after the death of Azoun. Using pathfinder 2e , I started with a basic module B11 Kings festival. I turned the festival in to a rememberance day of Azoun and those who fell in the recent war. Now we are starting B2 The Caves of Chaos. which I happily placed in the stonelands ! Swords high friends ...

    • @highinquisitorvanwiller8904
      @highinquisitorvanwiller8904 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Netherese Mythallars are made by storing raw weave into an appropriate crystalline vessel(usually quartz or beryl crystals). That's the easiest way to explain them, though it is far more complex, and basically nigh impossible at this point due to Mystra....But it's not completely impossible, it's all about understanding the weave and the appropriate formula, components, numbers, and sacrifice(not necessarily required but if the caster isn't strong enough then they're more than likely losing their soul as part of the ritual, binding it the Mythallar. Kinda like the elven Mythals made by highmages).
      If you're able to make one in the current era in the forgotten realms then you'll probably make a dead magic zone at worse, and at best a wild magic zone, but you'd have a Mythallar.

    I have been a fan of the realms since the late 80's and something I have always admired about it is the sheer number of strong female characters. So much of fantasy leaves female characters behind or only showcases one type of female character. The realms has the full spectrum of male and female characters. I enjoy that. Warriors, scholars, prostitutes(male and female), nobility(good ones and poor ones), fops, mages, priests/priestesses, on and one. So many characters of all genders races and creeds. Its a truly diverse and inclusive place.

    Mr. Greenwood, is there a comprehensive as possible list of all the kings and queens of Cormyr? Who are the "Good" rulers and who are the "Bad" rulers? As I have looked upon real world history, even poor rulers can make long term positive effects on the world while greatly loved rulers can make choices that lead to ruin for a nation. For example "Bad King John" of England created the royal Navy of England and signed the Magna Carta. While King Richard The Lion Hearted bankrupted England from all the wars he got them involved in.
    Also, how many noble houses have been subverted by hostile forces and how many of them are known to the crown intelligence forces?

    Baseless rumors (such as the thing with the goblins) might not hurt her reputation with her people, but it most certainly would have the potential to hurt her reputation with people who did not know her, like foreign dignitaries who come from neighboring kingdoms and nations farther away.
    That would make for a great story, showing the interactions of two or more kingdoms and nations with potentially vastly different cultures. I love the idea of players coming from a far off land and being able to experience a sense of culture shock.

    You guys laugh about "the royal chamber potholder" but it a valuable and often fought over position. Nobles would try to get their sons or nephews posted to the position, because whomever was wiping the king's bottom had the king's ear in the most discrete of times and locations.

    Shocked my players once when the went into the Orge city that controlled an area of the north and they had a very structured trade hub and enforced laws, all be it very vicious and cruel laws. All I changed was the Ogre kings alignment to Lawful Evil then built the town based on that.
