In the computer game “Icewind Dale 2”... *SPOILERS* ...the adventure was about stopping a monster horde which included many orcs. However, that game was set many years before the Time of Troubles. The Bloodstone series of modules, were apparently also about stopping a monster horde (I haven’t read or played them), this time to the East of Icewind Dale, in the Bloodstone Pass area.... I’m guessing they were set in the decade or 2 before the Time of Troubles....
The real reason that Azuth was guarding the Mystra statue “that had its arms out as if to catch a basket of laundry” because he was waiting for his laundry. Can’t go out and fight other gods without a nice clean set of clothes, eh?
Is that silver dragon really a goodie? Working with doppelgängers... conveniently having a store of wagon wheels to sell replacements to merchants who’ve suffered wagon damage on the Featherdale roads? Probably from potholes “accidentally” made by those big dragon feet, eh? 😉
Hey Ed, I am curious about the Keith Parkinson covers of the 2 books in the AD&D 1st Edition Forgotten Reams Boxed Set. Do you know what exactly they depict? E.g. what are the humanoid-type creatures on horses attacking the blond people on horses on one of the covers?
Might Xvim, after being absorbed and "consumed" by Bane when he resurrected, have continued to exist in the form of an avatar of Bane? So Xvim would exist in a sense as part of Bane.
Wonderful discussion once again. Thank you.
Thank you! We will be traveling back to Waterdeep for another Deep Dive!
@@magessagespodcast-fansofed1413 Awesome! Would love more fun or hidden information on Elaith Craulnober.
@@magessagespodcast-fansofed1413 a Waterdeep dive. 😉
Hidden gem! Ed is a national treasure
Spelljamming was awesome -- a way to connect all the worlds. And the Undermountain discussion was like visiting an old friend.

Drow associated with “the lands down under”? Drow are cool, so, as an Australian, I’ll accept that. 😎
Yeah, you should see our spiders! 😜
