The Zwift Ride is really nice. Took a few rides to get used to it but it's so easy to set up and dial in the setup properly. Definitely worth it. Because of it I realised I now need a bike fit because I'm so much more comfortable on the Ride than I am my actual bike.
@NoodleRidesBikes it’s a great frame. I held out and got just the frame only and the tablet holder, spent a while dialling in the fit and it’s so worth it. Almost no maintenance to do, just the chain to replace every X thousand kilometres and possibly the cog. Definitely get it if you can see yourself doing tons of mileage on it!
@@bonn1771 they are surprisingly cheap. The TVs were just over $100 and the fans are like $50. I slowly upgraded over time but with those all I am only at about $300
Awesome pain cave. I suggest a sweat net to go over the top tube. A $20 item that protects your frame from corrosion. Tacx makes a good one, I’ve used for 5 years Love the bike. I’m also on a CAAD model
@@dansheremeto4073 thanks buddy! I actually have one but never put it on because…. I probably shouldn’t admit this… I never drip sweat on the bike. I basically freeze myself out and am already a light sweater so I am a bit lucky.
@@DF-cc5im it sounds kinda dumb, but really the only reason I want it is for the bars. Having the zwift play controllers under my normal hoods just feels a bit off. With the zwift ride bars it is all one piece with the hoods and controllers combined. Would be super nice to have in my opinion.
Awesome setup, especially love the TV configuration. I see the strip lighting, do you change the lighting levels? I have a colour change room light, when zwifting I drop it down to a cool blue, i think it helps make the experience more immersive.
@@hbmedia4381 I had the zwift cog on my old trainer. Only difference between it and this is big plastic spacers instead of the metal ones. I did this on my actual zwift cog as well because it reduces noise. I agree though, the zwift cog is awesome and a game changer!
@@adriandanescu6485 haha I have! I am trying to convince my wife to let me. I will keep you posted. She doesn’t seem to like the idea. Give me reasons to convince her

Nice setup. I have the Click and thinking of getting the Play while it's on sale at $50. Do you find yourself shifting more with the Click or the Play?
Definitely the play. I use sram on my day to day road bike so it feels the most natural. It is awesome to have steering and controls as well. Hands down worth it for $50
I use a normal flat tv mount attached to a thin piece of wood. Bought the mount for like $10 at Walmart. Then I took a bunch of 2x4’s and screwed them together to create the angle if you look at 4:18 it shows a side view of it. I then screwed the flat piece of wood to the 2x4’s and badda bing badda boom!
I see that you use a mac and with the latest MACOS update you don't have to buy a green screen you can just enable croma background in your camera settings.
@@NoodleRidesBikes The newest update. So when using your camera. There is a icon that will appear in the top task bar. Right click it and choose to change your background then download an image of a chrome key and use that as the background. Boom free green screen.
one of the most well thought out indoor setups I’ve ever seen. Good job.
