'A curse upon the men who tried to steal our bog' Annemarie Ní Churreáin

In this paper, we reflect upon the background and circumstances that led to the composition of a poem: ‘A curse upon the men who tried to steal our bog’ by ANC. This arose from a JPICH funded project ‘WetFutures’ (Ireland), and related intra-disciplinary discussions concerning Irish peatlands, heritage, archaeology, literature and artistic representation. There will be a
reading of the poem, a discussion of the collaborative process and reflection on the value and purpose of trans-disciplinary conversations in the context of the creation of new poetry.
