While most of the Gods and Goddesses in this are Greek, some of the main ones are from other mythologies too. Miach is Celtic, Freya is Norse, Loki is Norse, Ishtar is Mesopotamian, Ganesha is Hindu, Takemikazuchi is Japanese, etc.
While this shit be cute and wholesome, all I'm feeling is sorry for Bell. My boy is just trying to become a hero and win Aiz. But instead, he gets a date with Syr and gets hunted down like he blacklisted or something
As a LN reader this season is the best adapted season so far. I was worried that they were going to rush the date in 1 episode but im glad to see that theyre actually giving it the full time it deserves. Ever other season deserved this treatment but im glad theyre learning now Hestia is a greek god and is one of the oldest. She's the older sister of Zeus and while she doesnt have too much recognition in fables she was seen as a well respected gods that a lot of people worshiped as a "hearth" was an old school heater where you lit it in your house and it kept you warm so she was seen as the protector of the home

First half did a good job but there were some issues and confusion lasting on from season 2 when they rushed though volume 8 of the series only adapting the Bell-Aiz-Hestia story and still rushed though. For example one of the skipped stories had bell and Syr on a date. They visit the poor district and there you learn Syr in her free time goes to help out at an orphanage. Bell spends time with her and there they are attacked by a monster but saved by Allen, the level 6 adventurer from the Freya family who tells bell how pathetic he is for not being able to protect Syr. This moment both tells you there's more to Syr then you realized before and it's where Bell discovers the path to help the Xenos escape in season 3 before he fights Asterios. During the date in the most recent episode they were supposed to run into those kids while on the run further pushing the story as that was the 4th time they should have appeared but haven't That's just me summarizing only the main points of one of the stories, not to mention the other impacts we see it have later, also not to mention that the anime also skipped volume 15 which like volume 8 was a compilation of stories between arcs where we learn more about the characters and world which set up later events
Well they didnt animate the part with the orphans because the anime completely skipped it. That part added some extra comedy to the date. Still JC is doing a good job so far at least especially if the rumors are true that this will only have 15 eps.
@ghostdragon4164 not saying they're doing a bad job but events they skipped in the past which JC Staff considered unimportant had bigger roles and give a lot of background and context on events that happen later. Sure it's fine and ite working but it isn't having the same impact because of their past choices
Even the writer is aware of it. I don't think the anime ever touched on his development abilities but one of them is "Escape" which grants him increased speed when running away. It's an ability that manifests in people who spend a lot of time running away

When they used it before (it was clearly mentioned in the LN maybe not the anime) that high levels while they can't see the people wearing the invisibility cloak they can sense them and somewhat detect that something there even if they can't see it so it's good but only against weaker people
@@raymondavila4645I understand what you're saying, it doesn't really work against high level adventures but it does for low levels, but it doesn't change the fact that being invisible is still 100% better than just being visible and out in the open for ANYONE to see. I'm just letting it slide, cause this is anime and animes be draw out even the simplest situations lol.
@anime_kingdom1300 the way I see it is sure they can try to be invisible but then they'd have to avoid anywhere that people are so they don't get bumped and have that ruin their cover. Then they'll be in a lone area where it'll be easier to notice them. Bell mentioned it in the LN(I think it's been a bit since I read this one) that they went to the resturant because Bell was sure the Freya familia wouldn't cause a scene in public and knew hiding in plain site was a good idea. Bell just didn't expect them to do what they did.
