2023 - thank you so much. I have been going bonkers with cleaners, even simple ones that leave a residue that picks up every fingerprint. I just got the same bottle from you because why not have beautiful things to clean with. I chose Tangerine as the scent - the citrus scents help with depression, so I hope it will make me feel happy all the time. Now, I must go see if you have one for a glass oven top. Maybe this will work too? Thank you thank you 🙏

Thanks for posting this! I had suspected this would be the thing to use, but you’ve confirmed it. I use a very similar mixture to clean sunglasses and my tv screens (no dish soap for the screens). I also didn’t know about the acidic chemicals, that’s good info. Thanks again!!

I love this recipe. I’ve been researching this for a bit since I’m pregnant and everything store bought is so strong and makes me nauseous (not to mention toxic). I wasn’t happy with the other DIY’s I found, something was always missing but I really love this. I used orange essential oil as I don’t have granite but this is a keeper!!

Hey, don’t know if you knew this, but Dawn dish soap is one of the worst things that you can put on granite. Granite is sealed to prevent staining and dawn dish soap does break down at sealers. Hope this helps.

Thanks Tracie, you sound like such a sweet dear, I was just captivate by your voice. I figured the commercial products were charging us 7-10$ a bottle for something we can get for pennies and you showed that. How about baby shampoo vs Dawn..maybe... FYI, there are plastic single sided razor blades same size as the steel one, not the box cutter type you had. I use them in engine rebuilds for scraping bits of gasket material off of aluminum heads as metal blades will cut into aluminum. They work real good, aren't as sharp as steel, but would do the job for food on granite and would be safer than steel, certainly far less expensive, you can get them in packs with a small scrapper handle from the usual online retailer. My home was just completed, I have a ton of granite and needed a ladies know how on how to care for it. Thanks my dear!

I thought it was the reverse, soap for deep clean and alcohol for daily spruce up. Whatevs, the two seem to be the conventional wisdom choices.
