I went into Target and ask the associate if they had the new book about Donald Trump deportation. The associate told me to get the f*** out. I said yeah that's the one do you have it in paperback?😂
We're witnessing the aftermath of a pandemic-triggered recession, coupled with rising inflation, supply chain disruptions, and changing consumer behavior, which has put additional strain on businesses worldwide.
Very good report. It's not about politics, it's about the household budget. The consumer has no duty to spend recklessly. Since 70% of the U.S. economy is centered on the consumer spending the government should have paid more attention to them. Blame it on the banks and big business who benefit the most always.
One thing they don’t factor in is customer service. Self checkout revenge. I go into a store to get service from knowledgeable people, that is the value I seek. No customer service I had to Amazon. Retail needs to bring back customer service and well trained staff not gimmicks and tech. People should matter both the customer and the employee.
What incentive do the companies have to bring back these types of employees replaced by technology? This is Capitalism, and it’s all about putting out the most good for cheapest price to outpace competitors. They can sell goods cheaper with less employees. But I agree with you. I miss good customer service
Thinking about joining your service. Can you tell me how much are you up on your trades? And what kind of trades do you do? Options, just buying stocks?
Bah. I shop at my local gas station mini mkt. Vollwerths meats are restaurant grade and cut the other junk. I grow produce and fruit. Saves a lot of travel expenses.
Cash is king. No one knows the market unless less you created the market. We’re in a bubble and it’s ready to burst. Can’t wait to short this market to the bank.
Never of recession and depression simultaneously. One or the other. You a d Eurodollar streamer have provide good evidence for global synchronized depression.
Oh poor, poor Target and Walmart are struggling after decades of re-selling 100 percent made in china merchandise that these retailers are marking up 3000 percent over what they pay for it. Prior to this any retailer was happy to buy a broom for instance made in U.S.A. for ten bucks and resell it for 20 bucks. That is how retailing was done in the U.S. for hundreds of years before U.S. retailers crawled in bed with communist china. Also, believe it or not there was a time when retailers such as Sears, Pennys and Montgomery Ward had staff in each and every department to wait on you, and guess what these retailers still made a profit. Don't be fooled by the rhetoric coming from carpetbaggers like Walmart and Target, whining about their supposed drop in profits. These companies have become filthy rich schlepping over all of this cheap junk from communist china for decades. For instance, Walmart's owner (the Walton family) has combined worth last estimated at a whopping $367 billion.
I stopped shopping there when they went woke and started getting into politics- just sell your stuff don't try and tell my how I should think - I bet their bottom line has suffered 20 percent - and it has to do with people like me- who have decided to shop elsewhere...
Meanwhile #47 wants to give corporations lots of money (tax breaks) and not insisting that they pay their fairshare way in society needs. Leave it to Main Street to carry the burden...hence a depression.😢
People are concentrating on the wrong thing. It is not the right or the left that is the problem. It is the rich elite that own both sides (swamp) that is the problem. Folks need to reevaluate what "the swamp" really is. And look what we just did we put more rich folks back in and took off all the guard rails. Those 56% that voted this way are gonna get exactly what they want... even though they were not smart enough to realize what that was. STAGFLATION is coming, like the world has never seen... better all of us stock up on food and water than make flippant remarks on some social media post. The more the better.
People only need food water and shelter. Those are the necessities. CEOs quit firing people and hire people THEN people will start to buy again. Common sense if people don’t have jobs they can’t buy. Things are gonna really look bad after Christmas. Foreclosures will start to uptick fast after the holidays.
The economy has been strong and starting to slow. Normally that would be ok because it would lower inflation. But now with Trump we are going to have massive disruptions in several fronts. Disruption means supply chain issues and all kinds of uncertainty.

We’re only 5 weeks from Christmas. If you can’t see the horrific 1st quarter of 2025 that’s dead ahead, I don’t know what to tell you.

As a consumer I would feel more confident to spend if Trump had not won the election.
people are trying to eat, and eat something that helps you live.

Excellent Analysis

A lot of times I know more about the product than the salesman.

How much you think that 22$ garbage cost Mc Vomits !
So really nothing has changed for the average worker. Lay off workers, lower pay, fewer employees , longer hours.
To save the us economy and free the people, should income taxes be eliminated 🤔?
No

It’s plain day you can see the day world trade died. It was September 11, 2001.
...Here we go again
2009 all over again. This exact same thing happened in 09. So, Trump will drill baby drill and ignite the BTC price.

APR is very high now, it's all hurting people. You can't afford anything now.

Everybody is ordering from Temu and shein.
Unlimited growth is a major fallacy.
Happy beautiful day to everybody no money left to spend 😂
Trumps economy, Biden's economy, Trump has to deal with it.
Why is a Jedi knight standing on your shoulder in the beginning?

People are saving money in anticipation of the tariffs. They know prices are going to increase across the board, so they are not spending.
Target 3-ring circus. Maybe they should cut-off one of the rings ?
With the teriffs coming when #47 takes office. There is no need to be out spending extra money. Time to save save save for the next 4 years.

Am I the only one surprised that Target has higher prices than Walmart? I thought they were literally the same
Nope target has more premium brands... Walmart is pretty much a flea market
Literally?
Historically Target has been more expensive, but they're now trying to compete with WM
Don't worry sloppy Joe has everything under control
Waiting for slurring Dementia Don to to start slobbering on his Big Mac without his dentures in
