Many novice owners ENCOURAGE their huskies to be vocal, (just look on TH-cam) because they find it cute. Well bred huskies or ANY breed, that are properly trained and socialized should not be out of control at a groomers, or anywhere else.

Right. Funny videos I am watching of a dude who had no idea of how to train his dobies. They sit and stay great, but pull on the leash and jump him all the time. I wouldn't want her try and groom them.

This husky isn't "broken", but many modern huskies are. Koko acts like our Siberian did. We had a Siberian Husky for 13 yrs, from the 1970's-1980's. She came from a reputable breeder and was calm and easy to train. I hear so much about current huskies being high-strung, sometimes prone to biting, and some insurance companies won't cover you if you have one. I've a husky as well - Seppala specifically - and she is one of the gentlest, quietest huskies ever. She lives up to her name of "Shila", aka "Shy". I think if she ever got professionally groomed they would think she's broken too. She hates getting her claws done but even then she just stares sadly instead of reacting. She might lie down and try to hide her feet. But she's a "broken husky" and I love it.
