Thanks ah this helped me get a belt on a 98 Colombia 17 hp turbo that the guy next door gave me , im hoping tomorrow ill be able to see it move its the exact same set up now i have a mastercraft to fix with the pully in the center 😅🔫 lol ill let you know tomorrow how she goes has anyone ever heard of the brand Colombia?? Made by mtd but i cant find jack on them ?? Had to look at other tractors to fix this one ??

Do you put any on rear axles??
I’m 71 and have AllWAYS used it on HD equipment and HD trucks plus all tractors for 57 years of mechanic work

Question.... I know this is an older video, hope you see this. The bolt holding on the pulleys with the swing plate, can that bolt and those pulleys be removed? Looks like "J71" in the exploded parts view. I have one of these and deck is toast, so want to just make it a wagon puller. Thanks.

just pull the deck off other wise youll have some troubles. I wouldnt remove pullyes cut the belts for the deck not the drive belt (make sure of this ) then take the deck off and side her out , pully that rides up under the foot plate for the deck to attach to can be cut off if your not using but go to you local junker i bet your find another deck to slap on ? Why not if it has everything to just hook another up why turn a good mower into a go kart ? Up to you i guess
