Thank you so much🎉🎉 Just got the Google Cybersecurity Certificate. It was a LOT of information but it wasn’t difficult. I will look into GRC next. Thank you so much Sandra❤
I secured an internship at one of the banks. I talked to one of the HR staff and he mentioned about putting me on a Back End Developer role. Looking into Programming, I heard that AppSec with a programming background isn't something to mess with since many cybersec roles operate on GUI and CLI.
Hey, so I have recently set up my HomeLab to practice on VMware for Kali Linux for cybersecurity and I was wondering if there was any way to learn how to use most of the kali linux tools.
I’m planned to take my security plus next month. I’ve got a great GitHub portfolio and have been networking on LinkedIn recently. Do you think after January a lot more jobs will open up and I’ll have a better chance of landing an interview atleast?
Maybe Feburary, March timeframe, depending on the industry you're interested in. Corporate will be focused on planning the year in January before opening the jobs floodgates. Other industries, like Higher Education, for example will also wait to post jobs after the semester starts. In general, I would suggest you be ready for late Winter.
Check the ISACA CISA ‘Auditor’ certification. It requires a minimum of 2 1/2 years of experience in auditing that is verified by a C level audit executive.

What are the best way to present your project to recruiters?
Writing them on medium, github, and posting about them on Linkedin! This has worked tremendously for me. (Also adding them to your resume)
