Indeed a very mesmerising place to live. So lucky that I have properties along beach and its a homestay place (four houses) to stay which called Paddy's Place..for me, Sibuyan is Paradise..even if I stay in UK I see to it to visit my place every 6 months. I love Sibuyan.👍❤️

it sad that Filipinos leave the country to work while foreigners live a good life in the Philippines. if not for the very corrupt government officials, Philippines would have been a very rich country and the Filipinos will enjoy their own country.

Pretty soon I'm gonna get a stroke like your friend...it's always relaxing and stress relieving when I close my eyes and think about the islands, the fresh air and Nature where I grew up. These FilAm kids don't know nothing. Someday I will go back to the farm where I grew up.

The problem is not that the Philippines has no beautiful islands, the problem is lack of good infrastructure, good paying jobs and corrupt inefficiency govt. These foreigners coming over are usually old pensioners and dont need to work anymore. They have income without working.

Foreigners wants to preserve the pristine natural condition of the place they want to live in and they build their houses with the natural contour of their surrounding if that is illegal then i don't know what is. i am sure they know the legalities involved in acquiring property in the Philippines but we are friendly towards them unless they try to be not so nice.

@@maayongaga729 You're a moron. An average American has enough income to buy simple house and lot. Average Filipino in Philippines can't do that because of the very low minimum wage and that foreigners buying up the lot can actually cause hiking in real estate prices so that it's no longer affordable for locals to buy simple enough lot. Thailand and Malaysia also do the same where foreigners are limited or prohibited to own land on their own for same reasons and you don't seem to understand that.

while watching this on the first part, i was amazed on the natural beauty of the island., on the 2nd half i felt disgusted with foreign whites lording over the people. that old white lady when she said "here in sibuyan i have employees, and i am the BOSS!" it only means they've lived unhappy lives from their own country, yet in far away islands they can be the BOSS they want to be... and she acts like a bossy boss. Seriously the government of the Philippines should be more strict with these whites who are slowly creeping in, in the beautiful suburbs and islands.

What a stupid comment! Good that they do not need to "poo" on this beautiful place ;-)

A forienger cant buy land in the philippines . the goverment does protect the citezens , if a forienger wants to do business they have to have a pinoy partner who owns 60 %
So ? She is the boss ? She can lease property for a agreed amount of time .
Then has to vacate the property . Unlike USA where Philippinos CAN buy what ever they want .
      So NOT unfair .
