I personally love the attitude the guys in this shop have. I've taken my car for custom exhaust work before a few times, the guys kept trying to talk me out of it, because they personally don't think it would sound good. They act like it's such a chore to do. These guys seem really supportive and just as excited as the customer. I wish I could go here, but I live in Canada. 🙁
My suggestion to anyone who wants a performance exhaust, don’t do anything with baffles/chambers. You lose exhaust velocity as well as making further restrictions in your exhaust. Just go with a straight through muffler cause you don’t have any obstructions, you get A LOT DEEPER sound, as well as being able to stay quieter when you want and be almost as loud as a muffler delete when you get on it. The company that I would go with is Magnaflow, other options would be Borla and Corsa. Although they may be more expensive they are worth it in the long run as they won’t rot and offer great tone and volume.
you are correct ! the most important thing about what you are talking about is the fact that anything you do with the baffles/cat. converter is that you can get minor or worst case MAJOR change in the air/fuel ratio due to back pressure etc...if you plan to do a delete kit or headers plan to remap your cars computer to match the changes you made on the exhaust system.
Love the layout you did on this compilation! You put the complete videos back to back, usually you show all 5 cars, then individually show their sounds, this flowed way better. Great video! Gotta love Coyotes!
Outstanding work and video. Love the Compassion from the mechanic. It's nice to know people still provide quality services for folks. I mashed that subscribe button 🤪
Man I Wish could have taken my 2012 mustang GT/CS full straight pipe 3 inch, with long tube headers it was INSANE! Seeing the decibel sound of that would have been scary!
7:50 I prefer the muffler delete, pack it with my side exhaust and the deep sounding (with trackey) on my 2012 boss 302 and I would be so happy. It’s only stock exhaust right now and I get so many compliments on the sound as it is
@@AfrooChe yeah they looked off. Weird. Noticed right away. I would’ve been pretty upset if I paid for my exhaust to be done, only to see upside down tips
I have a complete straight pipe xcept high flow cats, waiting to see what happens with the RPM act if I wanna go catless. I had a roush catback but I decided to go muffler delete.
13:54 CS means California Special... Why? Ford made this special edition in Recognition to California having the highest sales when the Mustang was released to the market😁👍
I know some people might say you can't see under the car but given the choice between a bolting up a real mandrel bent, stainless exhaust and one of these "muffler shop specials" I know which one I'd choose. Sorry just can't imagine doing that to a brand new $50k car.
Flows sound the best on any stand period. I usually hate the way the coyote sounds, the 4.6 has the sound on the coyote for sure, but that flowmaster is close 👌🏼
The last 5.0 GT/CS must drone like crazy @2K RPMs! No resonators & muffler delete? My '14 GT had terrible drone with high flow catted x-pipe and MBRP muffler deletes. Sounded damn good but would give me a headache after driving for an hour.
I run Roushes with an off-road x pipe. Match that with the VMP supercharger, and you have a LOUD Mustang. I have some videos on my channel if anyone is curious.
On my 5.0 when I got it, it already had no cats, no mufflers, no resonators, just straight pipe with an X-pipe. It’s crazy loud but I like the way it sounds. I do notice a little hesitation when I accelerate hard. Is it because of the no resonator? I’m thinking bout switching it up, just not sure to what yet.
Help me out comment section I have a 2021 Mustang GT and I’ve done headers cat delete a H pipe resonator delete and originally I had done a muffler delete now it’s way too loud and need to quiet it down what muffler do you guys suggest or what can i do to make it keep that roar but tone it down a bit
Looks like those mustangs are due for some ploy motor mounts..... looks like Ford know the engine twists enough in the mounts that they only added a flex coupler under the passenger side in the exhaust.... can’t see any other reason to add a flex coupler only on 1 side of the exhaust other than that.... unless they added the coupler on one side because quality control is down and they need to be able to mount exhausts that don’t really fit up well by use of a flex coupler?
How do you not know why CS means?? And the best setup on any mustang is a good stainless set of long tubes with an OFR x-pipe into a Borla Atak cat back
My setup is the loudest. There’s a reason I have the loudest mustang in South Georgia lol. Kooks catless longtubes, Corsa double x pipe & Corsa extreme mufflers.
Alright so you do know that changing the modes from Stocker Street or track does nothing for the exhaust if you cut the Mufflers off of it? Active exhaust is inside of the mufflers it's not in the catalytic converters or the manifold or the resonator. The one I picked out the best is the one with the Flowmasters and why are you calling some of those true dual exhaust when I haven't seen a true dual exhaust on any Mustang that you have done yet true dual exhaust comes off manifolds or headers and goes straight back to mufflers and straight out the back Tupac individual of each other all the way back that's true
Dude if u haven’t gotten a set up yet, go BORLA! I went corsa and I regretted it. They’re arguably not as loud but pretty close. And they have a deep rumble. Hïgh pitched screaming of the corsa is irritating. Headers will make either set up ridiculous too.

Not gonna lie, as a Chevy man myself, those 5.0's sound so amazing!!!! Ford did good with those mustangs

This guy is an absolute gem
the second 5.0 with the h and x pipe sound pretty damn good. not extremely raspy like other mustangs. and pretty loud too
I thought the glass packs were going to sound horrible but I loved the way they sounded on there 🤯
