I do have a blue one on iOS 8.4.1 that I’ve had since 2018. It was a pain to find as a 15/16 year old, but I eventually found a seller with old stock ones which made me very happy
yeah these definitely aged terribly, I used to use one of these, and turned to shit after almost 2 years. I decided to buy another one, thinking it would be better, and it was, it at least lasted beyond the 2 year point. That would be my last iOS device I bought new until December 2023 when I decided to just buy an iPhone 13. I hope it lasts longer than 2 years, at least 3 years, this costed me way too much money.
I recently found one on iOS 8.4 and it’s not only on its original version, but it’s also a demo model. So I guess it’s rare af. And I only payed 60€ for it
I have an iPod touch 6 gen for almost 7 years, it's on iOS 12, and TH-cam app still works , and I would not recommend buying the iPod touch 6 gen in any compacity Anymore, Unless it's a collectors item
i thrifted a hot pink 6th gen for $15! it still has iOS 9 on it but its locked behind a passcode that i don't know... i really badly want to use it but i'm just considering resetting it as the iCloud lock is off..
damn i saw ipod 6 battery low at welcome screen. after you unplugged like 45-50% in under 5 minute. that so fastest when you unplugged so fast back 20% 💀
The white music icon was introduced in iOS 8.4 with apple music so this device would have always had that icon

Apple discontinued the iPod touch 7th generation in 2022.
As a matter of fact, this month marks 2 years since the iPod was discontinued.

Will it be possible to find an iPad Pro 2017 on iOS 10? 🤔

Nice Apple Watch dude I have one as well
the Ipod touch was a smart economical move - why throw out defective iPhones when you can disable the cellular component and sell them as iPod touch
Is there any reason the battery and memory of a touch can not be updated like the classic? There are classic with as much as 4 tb and bluetooth.
