Have you noticed a knock in the gears in the rocket spinning reel? When I start and stop the reel quickly I’m getting an audible thud and you can feel it through the entire reel. Pretty disappointing for the price point. I’ve used 80$ Daiwa’s that feel smoother.
None at all and it’s strictly a fluke set up so a lot of quick start and stop. I do know what you’re referring too as my very first Abu ProMax did that after many years of use. Took it apart and cleaned out the inside and lubed and oiled it and bam, good as new.
@@brooxmahrfishing Yea it’s only one season old and only been used in FW. Look like I’ll be sending it in to Abu for warranty replacement or repair. Thanks for the confirmation that it must be a faulty reel!
@@Nate-nn9sk they’re customer service is amazing. One of the reason I have 14 set ups and have had 30+ since I began fishing 10 years ago. Value for the price is unmatched. Any question on Abu gear go ahead and ask cause I probably have it or had it and sold for a different preference
