Oh seriously what a surprise...NOT. This is so typical of the GREED that is the Australian Fuel Companies. Long past time that laws were passed to stop the random changing of prices at the pump without them refueling. They shouldn't be allowed to change the price of fuel without them refueling their tanks. No reason at all for the prices to change from day to day and these "holiday" spikes are just criminal.
High fuel prices, insane traffic, public holiday surcharges and grumpy waitresses. That’s why I am sitting in Thailand sipping cocktails for two weeks.
Lucky guy. To the naysayers, the minimal risk of ethanol poisoning is still preferable to holidaying in Oz with the usual comedic accomodation/food/booze pricing and shit level of “service”.
Thanks Albo ,what did we ever do to you to deserve this situation we are in.We gave you and your mum a roof over your head ,a scholarship to a good school and tertiary education and your still ungrateful
I’m in Western Australia when I travelled on Christmas morning I saw fuel prices ranging from $1.58.9 to $2.09.9 I expected it to be a lot higher I actually filled up the day before Christmas and paid $1.54.9 it didn’t go up anymore than it usually does on a Wednesday I live in a rural area and usually don’t have much choice but I actively check the prices thru fuel watch
We went out to drop off one of our vehicles for a service on the just before Christmas and when we went back to pick it up in the afternoon the price for Unleaded had gone up .30 cpl.
NRMA talking head thinks cutting the governments low hanging fruit tax, sorry fuel excise, @ 50c per litre won’t help, but another “fuel watch” will? Absolute clown.

Be careful with your drinks.

@ Hundreds of thousands of Aussies travel over seas every year. Two die. Now we are all scared. This is why Australia is doomed.
Drink beer and you have no worries

The Government will talk about this....... And then we'll hear nothing more of it.
98 has been ~ $2.26 in the North West of Canberra for months now. Just over the border in Queanbeyan, it is around 30 cents less. Go figure.
No way?! This is so unexpected?
How can anyone claim this is unexpected?? Happens every year 🤷♀️same with Easter.

I'm increasingly seeing Albo as some kind of punishment.
Did he study at uni when there were no HECS fees?
Yep, fuel went up over 10 cents over Christmas, where I live in South Australia
UNPRECEDENTED!!
I never understand it at all drive locally prices up in one area low, somewhere else. And, as, usual around this time
I didnt expect that.
Doesn't Australia have any anti gouging laws ?
If not, why not ?
But there are more EVs on the road. Wouldn't that mean that demand for fuel ain't what she used to be?
Cole's Woolworths servos first always with the increase,Always there for the Aussie battler.
Filled up with RON 95 at Shell Wandandian for $1.91 Not to bad for premium 95 in the Shoalhaven.
