Ha, good ole Ross Henshaw. My PE teacher at Boronia High School. First time I have heard his voice since 1978. Brings back great memories of my youth and remember watching this match with my mates. We had to skull every time Ross got a kick. I think he got eight in the first quarter.
Great memories. I had given up in the drawn game, but thankfully the players hadn't. We were never going to get beaten in the replay. Hopefully we can have another crack at a premiership within the next 3-4 years, but we'll need some of the young players to develop into champion players for that to happen. Go Kangas!
From the 6 minute mark of the second quarter to the 14 minute mark of the third quarter, The Kangaroos kicked 11 successive behinds. They kicked five goals in a 13 minute span of the fourth quarter.
27 games in 27 weeks.Probably the greatest Premiership win ever!

Well that was wonderful.
