We have to support Dart Zone! Hasbro is lobbying to change laws in the US as we speak relating to “toys” and how hard blasters can hit, in an effort to shut DZ down. The more we buy from Dart Zone, the more power they will have to help stop Hasbro.

Other than that, it's not like they are announcing this. You just need to follow the money. Ultimately, Hasbro has the power to change regs to fit their interests. We will just wake up one day and anything over 100FPS will be unable to be sold at retail outlets. Happy hunting.
Nerf is nothing
It's WalMart, so even if they weren't in the Toys sections they could put them in the sports section. WalMart could also stop stocking Nerf altogether in retaliation.
That "priming indicator" is a button to de-prime the blaster.
how to de-prime it with the button?

I have to say, this is the best review of the Nexus Pro to date. All of the other, more prominent, reviewers missed so much detail.

@@NaptownNerf Keep up the good work. As hobby-grade Nerf becomes more mainstream, especially with the influx of newcomers from the Nexus Pro, we need a sense of normalcy from TH-cam influencers, not so many "eccentrics".

Prediction: Nerf will now have to make an Ultra Pro. But it will sadly only shoot ultra darts.
Jesse Viramontes honestly the ultra line wouldn’t be nearly as bad if the darts at least fired accurately like it says but been beyond that proprietary ammo is such a huge mistake. Not to mention that the ultra one doesn’t have nearly as much blaster as this for the same price.
The whole selling point of ultra was the supposed high performance
That first stop on the half-mag insertion is due to catching on the Talon mag catch as it is a wildcard adapter.

Got mine today, didn't even have them on the shelf, found it on the pallet and asked them to crack the case. Haven't been to a war in two years but I can't wait!
For a second I thought you had some white hair, but it was just the lighting lol. Great review as usual. My local walmart still has nothing but I managed to order one yesterday and it should be in today,

This is a nice blaster. I think I want to get one and shelf my DZPRO for rainy days.
This is a genuine ~150 fps out of the box with the short darts, and in my test very consistent. I tried some older Worker short darts and they didn't do nearly as well, they are very slightly fatter and don't fly as well, I suspect due to friction in the barrel.
My Caliburn is 190 fps with the same darts, but also has a longer draw and is easier to damage if I drop it. I also have CEDA still in stock form, and while it looks great it has always been disappointing in fps.
Overall this is a great blaster, not for use against smaller children or indoors, and absolutely always wear eye protection. Unless Nerf come out with something remarkable this may be the last blaster I ever buy
They do need to get extra short dart magazines on the shelves asap, as it only comes with one. I have half a dozen 16 round Katana magazines, but if Adventure force bring their own put I'll definitely grab some
You can de-prim the blaster. That black thing that pops up is the de primer if you get a pen or something when it is primed and push it down that that will de prime it

The priming bar hits the top of my worker full size short dart mags and makes for a bad prime. Talon mags are perfect in this adapter, so the crunchy nexus mags are a non-issue to me as a hobbyist. There are definitely still seal issues.
Amazing! I'm dying to get one. Seems like you kind of need to use the included darts but I don't even care.
Daniel B some reviewers said their AF waffles didn’t run well, but I got a nexus earlier today and they didn’t have any issues. They didn’t perform as well as the included darts but even with the waffles this thing blows away any other stock blaster I’ve ever had. Now I want to buy the cheapest dollar store darts I can find just to see what happens.

Might be a late comment, it seems that the included full length mag has a slightly shorter lips than n-strike standard so n-strike based mags will be rubbing against the black priming bar when priming.
The priming indicator is not a depriming mechanism. Unless mine doesnt work, it just allows me to open the breech again. NN is right, I can't deprime the blaster, although it seems safe to dry-fire.
I think I know what’s happening on the 82 fps shots.. I noticed that the Adventure Force darts seem a bit thin for the barrel, and will slip out when the barrel is pointed downwards.. Nerf Elite and Accustrike are a tighter fit.
Please do not try to use Zuru X-Shot darts or any other darts which have a wider face than the body. These will simply not fit the barrel (jammed my Nexus Pro trying this and had to use a hanger down the barrel which is probably bad for the barrel)
@@gantrieltharxius28 brass barrel mod, 5 dollars and some tape takes 20ish minutes and shoots slightly faster

I hope dart zone makes a flywheel magazine fed pistol, a spring and shell fed lever action rifle, a flywheel 8 shot revolver (that is compatible with the cylinder from cornerfire), a bolt action that can be both internal and external magazine fed rifle, and a machine gun(just like vulcan).
Disappointed the DZP mags aren’t compatible. But glad it fits everything else. I’ll be picking at least one up in the future.
Try pressing the priming indicator. I think I saw that it’s an unjamming button

Oh they sell it at my local Walmart for 39 bucks. They also have the smaller one for even cheap. You just have to find the stores that dont sell many nerf realted things there cheaper

Well the forgrip is removable and hids picatinny rail. The pistol grip is a also a different mold from the blaster and can be removed. There will likely be many 3d printed grips that will come out soon

i agree its amazing how long it took to get half link darts. i mean its all pros for them. less shelf space less material cost. seems like a win win
so excited to get one. maybe some fine tuning is all. air seals, polishing the berrel and a scar is all i want to do to it.
Mags fit but don't catch in the mk 1.1 adapter. They do fit perfectly in a katana mag adapter though.
@@NaptownNerf I'm using the translucent black adapter and katana mags from my CEDA in a nexus pro. Looks way cooler with the orange.

I was about to start modding nerf springers but now... I'm wondering what the point would be tbh. $50 to hit 150fps, no brassing, no sourcing springs, no fine tuning, no tinkering or ongoing maintenance...
Will a Nerf Retaliator magazine fit in this? Also, can it use the X Shot Zuru darts?
I imagine the xshot dart heads would be too wide.

I would look up worker half length mags or katana mags as these are the most popular in the hobby. Word of warning they are slightly different so make sure that they will lock into your blaster.
