This is actually how genuinely intelligent people behave.
Asking questions is the initiative (the first step out of ignorance). So why would a wiser person than us make fun of that?
They actually feel thrilled that we want to know what they know.

2020 Octopi are linked back to a common ancestor through phylogenetics just as the most mundane animals are; there are no anomalies that suggests they’re not evolved as in the same way any other cephalopod is. Phylogentics are verified through DNA analysis not just by looking at morphology, entire octopi genomes are sequenced (you can look at them yourself if you have the software) so I don’t know where you’re coming from with that. Regarding the origins of life being alien, there is a legit theory that speculates that life may have originally travelled from somewhere else and proliferated here rather than originated here, but it’s by no means proven. Octopi are not part of that theory.

I can understand his impatience As a biologist it’s highly unlikely to me (though not impossible) that life evolving in a totally different biosphere than Earth would be so close to identical to us. Different habitable worlds are likely to have entirely different selection pressures pushing life in different directions than on Earth. Even though life on Earth is carbon-based, you can still see some pretty significant variances in the assortment of genetic material and that’s still all on our planet.

      Pointless. Brian isn't confrontational enough.
He won't ask to see any evidence of Bob's scientific credentials, training or background that doesn't exist.

How do you guys explain that a lot of the stuff he said and claimed many many years ago just recently proved to be true? The fact that he actually did work at groom lake and area 51 doesn't give him credibility? Or are you morons on the hate wagon just because you think it's cool and you literally dont know shit about what you're talking about? Maybe you should research the subject that you have such a strong opinion about? Or just keep living your lives like a convoluted neanderthal...

Urayis wish l the point is not simply because he worked at Area51. The point is he is historically the first to claim he worked in that area nobody heard about before him. The Area51 remained a conspiracy theory legend for a long while before it was finally disclosed by the Pentagon and officially admitted to existence.
On top of that, back in the early 90s, Bob Lazar described how the UFO he reverse engineered manœuvres and his description matched exactly the way the UFO from the 2004 USS Nimitz incident footages behaves. Footages that leaked more then a decade after Bob made his description. How did he know if not he saw them himself before the video leaked? Oh and the Pentagon (once again) admitted the videos as authentic US Navy videos. So what do you say?

Great conversation. A common human frailty is to limit life, space, and time to what we can conceive them to be. Seems to me that life, space, and time are infinitely inconceivable.
