I like the dinan, it has a nice refined sound, its not always about being loud, sometimes u just want alittle volume and refinement

You can keep the AWE, just disable the cold start feature when you tune it.

Same here my wife hates it when is loud, my x5m had FI exhaust and sport downpipes 200 cell, my little one used to get scared and cry, so I am not touching downpipes on F90 this time, car came with MPE, I’ll just do X pipe

Thank you for the heads up on this video I was looking at am awe exhaust for my 21 M550i but I will be going with Dinan instead I don’t want anything to loud and especially drone but I had a Dinan setup on my 2014 535 it had a drone hopefully it won’t for the M550i. Love your vids by the way.

I am confused, are you using Dinan x pipe and Axel back? or just x pipe? did you do just x pipe at some point? what did you think of just that?
Actually watching the two M5 back to back, the cold starts sound pretty similar - loud!
My cold is loud too but I like it and don't want to get rid of it. My solution is to put it into gear immediately after start up. I have done this for the past 2 years and the neighbours have not complained.
Instead of doing that you can lightly tap/feather the throttle and it quiets down the exhaust during startup. I had insane loud cold starts after going catless on mine. This helped a lot lol

@@TommyLGarage Because I heard that the midpipe of different brands and the muffler sometimes do not always have a good fitment, so I would like to ask the match between awe and dinan is perfect, right?
I did this exact set up and am getting a vibration, pressure at low rpms. Especially coming to a stop? Any ideas? Drives me nuts
Make sure the cross brace is not touching the exhaust. That could be it

You might be surprised if I told you that I bought an M5 F10 and it is equipped with a German-made Hamann exhaust, the sound of which is very loud, but I will buy the car’s original exhaust from BMW and put it on the car. Do you know why? Everything the company put into the car and it really knows the positive side of it. Maybe you need the low sound of the exhaust while traveling in the M5 in order to relax while driving. Do you agree with me?
I disagree. Manufactures put parts on the car which will fit most customers. I am not most customers, and I prefer a bit of a louder exult.
My apologies, this comment doesn’t pertain to this video. Do you happen to have a release window for the g8x mud-flaps? I have to drive down a dirt driveway and road every day and it’s absolutely killing me hearing all the rocks slap the side of my car.

I've got a 2016 F33 428i... with only one sided double-tail pipe... is it possible to change out the diffusor and add the second double-tail pipe? or maybe I should just TH-cam search Kies, I'm sure if it is was done, HE would be the one who has.... wink/wink- @@TommyLGarage
