- This series on Astrology from the Jewish perspective is geared towards self-improvement. In this series Rabbi Kin does not cover the Astrology that relates to one's destiny or Mazal. Rather these lectures discuss the Astrology that deals with character and personality, and focuses on the strengths and weaknesses that each sign has and needs to work on. According to tradition, the day of the month and hour exert much influence over one's nature. In describing every sign Rabbi Kin puts great emphasis on relationships - how they are affected by the "chemistry" or lack of "chemistry" that exists between the different signs of the Zodiac. Rabbi Kin also advises what one needs to know and do to be able to get along with everyone. By knowing more about ourselves and others one can gain a better understanding of human nature; he can then learn to be more forgiving and accepting of every human being.

We observe people and if we find any weaknesses, we simply understand it instead of judging it directly . And let it pass . We never will stuck at one point but we tend to see things at different view as possible it can.... And the understanding is deep... Since I am an empath , I feel deeply pain when other is suffering and I feel happy and joy when surroundings or people are happy. .. We can feel the same as you do .. There are the high types and low types of this intense water sign. And I have never met one Scorpio who did not have pride, there pride is almost as thick a Leo if not worse, just in a more subtle way, as Leo has more Assertive pride. The scorpio's with Libra planets in the rest of the chart seem to be more humane from my observations.

The Sun Scorpio isn't.
I was married to one for 12 years. I clearly see that what I believed was controlling, was actually protection, I don't believe I have ever experience that level of loyalty by anyone, including my own family. He would say " It's not that I don't trust you, I don't trust the evil in people" I took that as negativity, life later showed me very clearly what he protected me of. He had a natural talent for music, Collected, I could be in worst mood possible, he never took it personal and that grounded me. I never experience revenge, but I never understood how could he just cut one out like they never existed.. He told me that people show you who they are. Life had other plans for each one of us, but I feel blessed for the experience and lesson.

My understanding of life is that we become Self-god in this life time so we can ascend to the next, people here and around me live life like sheep and I won’t follow that Hurd. By self god I mean we master every part of ourselves and all parts of life that we have nothing to fix in our next life time …repaying all our karma and ascending to god. And I feel like I have a better understanding of life how we are controlled.. and how a lot of things are lies and media will either be a power you master or a power you don’t n it will consume you.

Yes Scorpios have an explosive temper and depression. Unexplainable. It's like you try to have patience with people who are hard to deal with, then if they keep on getting on your nerves, it causes 'a Scorpio' to lose it. Passive aggressive! scorp moon here that fender analogy is spot on. Im different now but when I was like 16-17 my aunts ex hit her and threw her down the stairs. She left his house and went to my grand mothers house. I heard her say it to my other aunt so I took her car and waited in his house for 6hrs. When he walked through the door I came at him like a demon kicked his ass and dragged him up the stairs and threw him off eye for an eye mentality at that time, except I did it like 4 times. When he was crying saying he was sorry I told him if he hurt any of my loved ones again I'd find him and hunt him down no matter were he ran. So yeah kind of messed up but I was real young. However silver lining he never hurt another woman again. I don't like that I did this now because It could have turned out worse. Specially waiting for him 6hrs that brooding in darkness is not good. I'm super calm but what he did set me off. He called my family and said I was a monster. I picked up the phone and told him I would become a devil if you hurt those I love. He never stepped foot in my families house again.

What is prohibited by the Torah are various forms of Divination (predicting the future) that include Predictive Astrology - where one acts in accordance to what the stars say at a given [future] time. These lectures discuss the Astrology dealing with character and personality which is extensively covered in the Kabbalah, is permitted, and can be very useful for self-growth.
7200beverly I have found astrology to be a very useful tool for u understanding character in myself and others. This understanding has made it much easier to forgive and be a better friend, wife and mother. In my experience, predictive astrology isn't very accurate anyway. Too much free will going around. And I believe that God wants us to have faith and lots of it. "It is better to walk by faith than sight." "Lean not on your own understanding..." Sometimes I wish that I knew everything but what fun would that be?

They are also intended to clarify some of the less understood characteristics of Astrology - such as the importance of the "Elements." Also, there is some emphasis on compatibility between the signs, as well as an overview of the Jewish perspective. A deeper analysis would only lend itself to a thorough book. Ultimately, the other lectures by Rabbi Kin will serve to complement this series.

There's no better education then personal experences. There is no growth in denial, no self discipline without honest self reflection. Time has been wasted most often when I tried to hard to be compliant and non threatening, for the sake of being accepted into another's space. Time is short and energy is precious. My mental and physical reflexes are as natural as my breath, measured by situational awareness and context recognition. My energy is precious, my revenge is my silence.

Born October 23, I’m zero Scorpio with Libra moon. Very Libra in my youth, but after 50, my Scorpio really came out.

im a scorp and most of my friends are actually fire signs. I'm a very deep scorpio, a lot more then the usual, I've been through a lot, so thats why I love fire signs' hapoiness about life, they make me optimistic. I don't really like the other water sign cause they're too emotional for me, and to be honest, they remind me of my depression, which I have fir many years, which is obviously something I want ti forget.

He's been reading Linda Goodman's 'Sun signs'. I recognize many of her unique phrases and there's no mistaking his tendency to plagiarize her work. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this?

Look up vedic astrology too. You will be amazed. I always thought I was just a Cusp Scorpio/Saggitarius. But I am so emoțional....Sun,Moon, Venus and Saturn in Scorpion(based in Vedic astrology). I have Libră, Saggitarius Pisces and two others. I never really wanted to harm others/ revenge on others but sometimes I could not control myself. But I never lied, I Hurt others with the truth. I have watched a lot of videos on youtube with Rabbi Kin , he has described a lot of truthful facts about all star signs that I have encountered as friends, relatives (old and young/ parents/kids/nieces and nephews ) partners or bosses and he also gives advice on how to counter each signs negative influences to improve one's self . However when he speaks of the Scorpion he is very very witty. Not sure whether he is a Scorpion, whether his partner is a Scorpion (Can Rabbi's marry?) or he has a very close relationship with a Scorpion. Watch his other videos and see if u agree or not. When he is talking of the Scorpio sign he has a glint in his eye, a smile on his face and makes several witty jokes. I love him.
I have four placements in Scorpio and this is dead on but I'm not real revengeful.

I know this video is old but wanted to say that I am enjoying it and that I am a Scorpio sun, moon, rising, mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Pluto. I didn’t realize how intense I was till my boyfriend said I was too emotionally intense for him and that he could feel my presence a mile away, mind you he is Leo sun libra moon and has a lot of Virgo so I easily overpower him but I wasn’t doing it purposely. I am a scorpio and I do very well under pressure and in emergencies. However, everyone has a weakness and mine is my Taurus son. Together, I am another person totally. I am not one to spazz out, a person could cut their arm off and I would be holding pressure telling them all is well. But if my Taurus son is there and a person just got a small cut that needed a stitch, I can totally spazz with my Taurus son around. I think I feel more of my Taurus son's fear and then that heighteneds mine.
