    Great video. I love the use of a barrel stave. Can you clarify the hole(s) size between the screen and the bottom of the wood that allow the smoke to go into the glass?

    • @30minutewoodshop
      @30minutewoodshop  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I actually ended up boring out a 1-3/4" hole to give the smoke a bit more room to eddy and curl. You can find a dimensioned sketch in my blog at 30minutewoodshop.com/?p=871

      @@30minutewoodshop Thanks for the clarity! Just what I was needing! I really like your idea of using whiskey staves.

    Do you always stick your fingers so close to a spinning forstner bit!

      Lol... I don't recommend you do everything I do. Follow your personal best practices. And of course, the safety instructions included with any tool you choose to employ.

    your video indicates that you are using a 2 inch screen but the amazon link takes me to a screen size f 2.75. which one?

    • @30minutewoodshop
      @30minutewoodshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      You need the smaller one. Here the link to the correct one amzn.to/43oV5MP it's a 2.14" diameter screen. Thanks for letting me know that the link didn't work.
