DIY Small Turned Rolling Pin
You don't need a rolling pin every day. And you certainly don't need a large rolling pin for most of your work. So here's a small easily turned rolling pin that's about 12 inches long an inch and a half in diameter that will serve for 80 or 90% of your daily needs. This is super easy to make and in my case I used wood from the fire pile.
Hope you got something out of this and if you did, do me a favor, hit like and subscribe. I’d appreciate that a lot.
Thanks and until next time Good Making!

I'm on my second set of these tools. The first set was stolen along with the rest of my tools two years ago. I use them daily. I wouldn't own any other tools than Milwaukee! They have great power and torque, and the 5.0 ah batteries last a long time! The battery hammer drill will drill holes in concrete just as well as my corded hammer drill! Add the fact that Milwaukee has the largest line of M18 tools than other manufacturers, you can't go wrong with these tools!!.

Bill, I wanted to thank you again for the video you put together for us wood working hobbyists. I'm retired US Navy and I always find myself doing things. Since I'm a big fan of the bourbon/whiskey and wine craft, I've taken up an interest in building with staves. I recently purchased a used five gallon barrel to flavor off the shelf clear rums. Unfortunately the barrel wasn't good enough to put rum into it because I soaked the barrel and did a couple fills of boiling water to seal her up. However, every time I poured the hot water out of the barrel, I would see an oily film on top of the discarded water so I didn't want to put a good liquid in a bad barrel and have it ruined. After seeing a few video tutorials, I cut her strategically in half and made a beautiful half barrel display that sits on my man-cave floor with books in it. I'll come up with an idea for the other half shortly. I went to Harbor Freight today and picked up an affordable compound saw, drill press, router and orbital sander to start my journey. Until next time, Navy Mark

Hey Brother - thanks for the kind words. And congrats on your retirement!! Nice work repurposing that barrel too. I'd probably just gave up and burned it in a fit. Ok - for Force caused by aerodynamic drag Fad = 0.5 · Cd · A · Rho(air) · v^2 In KMS. 0.5 * Coefficient of Drag is (per NASA) 1.05 * Area is 0.001313 m^2 * Rho(air density) is 1.202 * Velocity ~1m/s =0.000829N or 0.000189Lbs which is 0.00298 oz. About the weight of a feather restraining the cars progress down the track. Drag doesn't really kick in until you reach about 20 kph(ish) which is why it matters for speed skaters and bicyclists.

I helped out with a single mom and her son cub scout with this pinewood derby. Some of the other cars were obviously built by the dad's or other adults. The car we built was not one of those. The boy learned a lot from shape and sand and paint as well as weights and Balance. After 2 days of heats double elimination to my and his complete surprise we won every race!On the last day it was down to our car and this pencil thin super painted dad built car. It was very close race.We got a second place trophy and the crowd favorite trophy with blue ribbon family participation award!I hope he still has that car and awards today. Thanks!

My own experience with the Pinewood derby was in the mid 70's.I built my car myself.Unfortunatly it didn't make it down the track very far.My lead weight was lumpy on the bottom and the track was grooved so it bottomed out mid way.Dissapointing to say the least. When I was asked to help my friend's son with his car and derby I was skeptical on our chances of winning at all let alone every race for 2 days!Over 200+ Cars were entered and the event was a 3 day schedule.

Your welcome. I can strongly recomend the Bosch softaterial blade for the jigsaw , they also can be used in the pad saw, the blades not cheap but for me they change it up. They cut rubber , foam, carpet, catdboard, and plastic. Little or no dust. Just awesome! Worth the money i think . Thsnks for the amazing content.

Thats great..i have one very old belonged to my father. They have a modern day hidden secret. That is any jigsaw blade will also fit and tighten down. So it can use metal cutting blade ceramic blade and recently i tried the Bosch soft material blade. Its a complete Saw. Awesome
