I actually think I give myself 13 points in toughness now....Most spear players go 100% in Agility. I was doing that for a while but I found myself dieing all the time...I went just a few points into toughness to just give myself enough buffer to excape with my life... I don't think I put any points into armor at all anymore. But the magic number Is 13 points into Toughness for me. The Spear has been nerffed so bad since this video a few things had to change. Then I think I go the rest Agility....But I even think I throw some into Strength because it makes hurricanes edge stronger and I get a ton of unit and player kills off that. But the Ult and Spear kick is mostly Piercing. I get prob 75% of my hero kills off that spear kick....because the enemy will start running away when they are getting beat
No problem zorgSVK, once you get use to playing spear and the moves you could try going 100% agility for more damage.... A log of really good spear players do that. You will have less armor but you will kill faster I guess.
so the build i have is all agility, im at 99 with 540 armor. im squishy but if my dragons squeek ;) i can usually get them down to nothing. i do 1667 in both pericing and slashing and can crit from behind for 3k.

Yea the game is still going strong....since this video they added a lot. There are now runes you can put on your armor and weapons to better your character...I'm thinking maybe 20ish troops have also been added and more castles.
Actually my ult (Dragon's Roar), Spear Kick(Procris's Gift), Charge from my horse and Thrust from my horse are all piercing. My slashing and slashing pen are in the 15 and 1600s already...but my piercing moves are my burst killing moves so I need them higher.
hey, very nice guide, I've been playing spear for a long time now, and i always lose duels to short sword and shield, poleaxe, maul, sometimes duel blades, do you have any tips on how I can beat them, or am I just dead meat when I duel them?
The thing about that is the Spear is at a real disadvantage in Duels and Death Matches....it sucks. I was going to mention that. In Death Matches choose your attacks wisely, don't get greedy, try not to chase, use the other teammates like they are your units. Get in there and stick the enemy then roll back. Always try to get around behind the enemy attacking your teammates to do way more damage. Once you burst your damage get back behind your teammates. In Duels you are kinda fucked. You can beat all those classes in outside combat, sieges and fields because you can use your mount. The Spear Class was built around your mount. What I use to do when someone would try to duel me I would change all my gear and duel as a rogue or Maul bahaha My first class was a rogue, then Poleaxe , Long Sword, Short Sword then Maul. I recently tried Short Bow to 1 Ult and same with Glaive.
It actually makes me happy that you liked the video....I didn't know what to expect...I haven't really been using Spear for that long but I love the class and I'm also still learning.
Rogueafett I’ve seen your progress and really enjoy the slow motion, that shows you how exact you have to be to perform the spear well, and you have perfected that it just takes a lot of practice and patience and you have both... now to apply that to other skills in everyday life 😆

That's a good question. I got some shit for the way I did the points so I actually tried full agil for about a week. It was ok, but my wreckless playing style calls for a little more armor so I can live a bit longer in the thick of it. So I guess it all depends on how you play. Try both ways man and just stick with what you like best. With the armor I got since the video I have about 19 points into armor now.
Some armor pieces have extra leadership on it. I mostly see it on gloves for some reason. You just have to get lucky when you make it, or get lucky on drops. If you have some armor tucked away in your supply dump that you were saving check it out....it might have leadership on it
hahaha Well I have a different one now anyway. You gotta play with whatever ya got till you get something better. But what I said was correct...it could be green or gray right :)

Yep, that works too, just have to be a little more carful is all.
The 2nd normal attack on horse does a lot of damage, especially to running heroes on horse.

I don't think they nerfed it. I'm at like 15 points in my armor and the rest in agil...I don't do to bad. Alot of good spear guys go 100% agil though.
