Thank you! This was much like my lesson tonight, but having repetitive moves broken down clearly and concisely will help me practice at home! Much appreciated 😊

Thank you so much for making these online dance classes! It really has helped to improve my dancing because I wanted to do competitive dance but I had to get pulled out after summer intensives because we couldn’t afford it 😢 this really helps! ❤

These remind me so much of my high school drill team practice. We also did competitive dance when football season was over. I tried to keep up with dance after graduating but couldn’t find anything i could afford to take at my then skill level as a college student. I held out for a couple of years learning music video choreography in my student apartment living room, but the stress And anxiety of senior year did a number on my and I wasn’t able to dance due to illness. And I just never got back into it. Fast forward about 8 years since i stopped dancing, and all my lean muscle is gone, and my flexibility is no where near where it used to be. I’ve been battling the health challenges that go along with pack of exercise and low muscle tone. I haven’t been feeling the best about myself and I’ve been aching to get back to the dance girl i used to be. Just couldn’t figure out how. Ballet classes felt too formal, and I couldn’t find anything like what you are doing. That being said, I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS! I feel like I can finally enjoy working out (virtually the only physical exercise that i don’t dread is dance 😅). I feel like I’ve gone back in time 13 years 🥹

Hey Kayleen! Love all that you do. Have you ever considered putting up the streams of your classes/dances? Say if you were to set up a patreon for that I’d 100% support you in a heartbeat!

Also this helped me realize weight change is something I really struggle with! I think having dyscalculia also makes it hard for me brain to figure out. Good to know it's a skill that can be developed :)

I’ve been subscribed to your channel for awhile and I love your choreography as well as all the helpful dance tips you’ve shared. I am truly grateful to have found your videos! I have a question for you, if you have the time to answer. I’m starting a dance channel where I’ll post choreography and dance tutorials, but I don’t know what I should do to avoid copyright claims/strikes when using popular songs. What do you do to avoid this problem while being monetized?

20:00 When doing turns, are you supposed to only spin on the ball of your foot (so a relevé I think 😅) or do you spin with your whole feet (ball of the foot & the heel) firmly on the ground? I want to try both, however I noticed that when spinning solely with the ball of my foot it's harder to maintain balance when I land haha 😆

Balls of feet on relevé, never the whole foot. It helps to strengthen ankles and arch of foot the longer you can hold your relevé on one leg the stronger your turns will be and consistent. Hope this helps

Could you list the songs you use? The link you posted only leads to a provider (like spotify) but I don't work with them. I'd like the song names if possible.

Isn’t that tendu to the back was technically not correct because the tendu should be in line with your heel of the supporting leg🫣😬
