I have a subscriber who donated for this song because it’s Jonathan’s birthday 🤦🏽♂️ even when you think you speak clearly folks hear what they wanna hear huh 😆 😆 no worries guys hopefully he becomes a subscriber after this right!!
PLease Please Please dont react to "daddy" by them till you have heard at least 8 others ongs or your are goingto react to their whole first album..maybe check out"blind" next its basically the song that launched nu-metal..keep up the dope reactions!
@RuppleberryReactz Korn circles the drain of all that is dark. If you're emotionally sensitive, stay away from their early work. Their song "Daddy" is the ultimate disturbing song in the history of music. The mental breakdown he had in the song was a real, bonafide mental break and they put it on the album. The song is so personal and disturbing for the singer it took him 20 years before he ever performed it live. He did it once, only once, and will not do it again. Be prepared for it to ruin your day. It hurts, but it is worth listening to. If he had the balls to put it on their first album, we should have the balls to hear the story he tells.
Bruh, if you wanna see some crazy ish , check out KORN: Blind live at Woodstock, it is absolutely fiiiiire !!! Watch the pure energy that is generated between them and the crowd. I got to see them back in the early 90s right before they blew up, at a big bar in Atlanta, one of the most high energy crowd moving bands I've ever seen. And im 51 now. The children of the Korn, were generations deep. And Happy Birthday brother, much love from Tennessee.
Oh man these guys were one of my go-to bands in high school. They were always played on the bus for away football games. I was the road DJ 😂. This song came out in '98 by 2021 Korn had sold 40 million records worldwide.
I hope you had a great birthday!!! And you gifted all of us with an epic reaction. KoRn is amazing and it made me so happy you enjoy the music and video to its fullest. Thank you for the reaction! If you do another KoRn song, you should add the track Twist into the reaction. It’s only 45ish seconds long, but it’s the most EPIC thing Jonathan Davis has ever done vocally and I’d LOVE to see you hear it for the first time ❤❤❤
One of my fave bands when I was in highschool in the 90's, ive seen them play in a bar with 100 people there on their first album tour and I've seen them play a sold out arena a few years later and both shows were just as good.
The animation is one of my favorite things of the video. When the animation freezes and you get the image of the girl playing hopscotch on the edge of the cliff, that was the album cover for "Follow the Leader" and was drawn by the great comic book artist and creator of SPAWN - Todd McFarlane. It is one of my formative memories that inspired me to do illustration.
🎉Happy Birthday man🥳 Hope all is well Korn is an amazing, band with a one of a kind sound. Back in the day, Jonathan Davis said that this song was written about the music industry and how they exploit some bands. Treat them like they're one of a kind "freaks" for sale but then once you sign that record deal, your put on a leash and can't do this because "it won't be allowed on MTV" or "can't play that on the radio" instead of just letting them be them and letting the music speak for itself. A few albums later, their record company wanted a new single and didn't like the one that Korn wanted so the studio then asked them to write a better song for a single. Fans got the song "Ya'll Want A Single?" Worth checking out as well as the song "Falling Away From Me." which in a way it's a sequel to this music video. But honestly overall my absolute favorite Korn song is "Got The Life."
@RuppleberryReactz I can not believe I forgot to mention the song "Twisted Transistor," another banger from them but an even better video. Features Xzibit, Lil Wayne, David Banner, and Snoop Dogg acting as Korn. There's 2 versions to the song. The short version that goes directly with the song and an 7 minute one where they mock Korns entire career. And the music video for the song "Thoughtless" was Aaron Paul's (Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad) very first acting role ever.
Happy BELATED birthday, Teddy. Definitely picked a great one to react to (won the MTV VIDEO OF THE YEAR AWARD for this one). BLIND Woodstock '99 is the next one you wanna check out by them
Korn feat Fred Durst - All In The Family. Johnathan Davis is a legend and Korn has an unmistakable sound. I saw them live in Biloxi a few times and they always deliver
It was really late 90s, and one of the people running for student council president used the album art for follow the leader for his campaign and won in a landslide. I love how much you love seeing music that is new to you that shaped my musical life as an old fart.
There are few songs from Korn that are skips. They have the Nu Metal style of their own. Some of my favorites are "Got the Life", "Falling Away from Me", "Right Now"(find the unrated video), "Wake Up", "Trash", "Evolution", and "Ya'll Want a Single". There are too many more to name, but those are the ones I can think of off my head.

Falling away from me music video by korn starts where the freak on a leash ends if you want a direct sequel. Or" got the life" they've also got a song with ice cube on that same album

I’m at a better place now but held in so long your life is changed in an instance. Thanks for doing korn. Happy birthday to you and Jonathan Davis. Much love and wellness ❤❤❤🫶

Korn is a great band. You should check out their songs y'all want a single, right now and Shoots and Ladders. Shoots and Ladders is probably my favorite song after Freak on a Leash
