I found you through The Gamer From Mars Bashurverse video and just spent the whole morning binging this entire series (and several other videos of yours) and I just love your analysis. In fact I love it so much that I’m absolutely heartbroken that you haven’t completed the series yet. I wanted to watch more! Still 9 is my first Doctor and I have only watched a few episodes of his season because I was worried that without the context of the prior seasons it wouldnt resonate as much with me. So I stopped watching and determined to start at the beginning at some other time. Having watched this whole series of videos though I finally feel equipped to jump back in with the rest of 9. I’m glad I waited because without the context of the War Doctor I really would be missing a key piece. Thanks so much for these videos. I enjoyed having you be my guide into this universe.
Thank you! I do think it's very possible to enjoy 9's season without knowing any prior context of what came before it, but I appreciate your dedication. I have plans to someday make a guide to the essential classic Doctor Who episodes, for the people who are interested in getting a taste of what the old show was like without having to watch all 26 seasons. But that probably won't be for a while, it's one of the many ideas sitting on my "videos to make" list.
