Bartlett struggling to understand how seeds and plants work without the use of ai or podcasts 😂
If it isn’t on Tik tok he doesn’t understand it
😂😂😂
😂😂
@@ashleyberry1116😅😅
he is a waste of space
"I'll point out the situation that you're in: I'm holding all the aces...you've got none! Good luck with that negotiation." Sara is a gem. No BS. Right to the point. No wasting time. Brilliant!
The funny thing is she reveals afterwards that she wanted that deal no matter what.
He started off so well too! Well done Sara for seeing the potential!
Sara's a legend. Got a good feeling they will do well with this business 👏🏻
Sorry, I think it will be a bust, but Love Sara
@@turtlejones9279you are clueless
@@nxclyons Why is someone clueless for having an opinion?
He went bankrupt after this.
I just bought 509
😆😆😂😂..when Peter said, that's the right answer, i agreed totally. 😂😅👍👏👏👏💯
What a lovely bloke… he needed a break and Sara was brilliant. Great stuff!
Business has shut down
@@benjames7441it hasn't tho?
12:09 is just pure gold
Indeed. Right in the smacker.
Agree with steven on this
I am SUCH a Sara fangirl💌😻. She has such good vibes and advice
Love Sara beautiful inside and out .❤
She is marvelous.....bet she is a great and fun mom and wife. Husband is lucky
@@JazzyMarineVetwould you... You know? With her?
And full of passion. Always great seeing her when it makes "click" with other entrepreneurs just like the van guy.
yes, definitely
I so agree ❤
Great product. I hope the market is big enough to help the business grow.
Notice when he mentioned about the patent, Debra has a beady eye on the situation.
They can edit the B roll to make it look however they want.
@@markshepperson3603 Debra loves patents though
Bravo,
Greatsuff.
Nice episode.
"Goooooo Miss Sarah Davies!!!"
Always cool, always heroic.
Keep up the good work.
Well done Dan - phew, you made it! - having Sara really is fabulous, & wish you all the best for the future! 👌👌
He didn't make it, the company went under.
@@BenjaminGoose reference pls?
@@BenjaminGooseno it didn’t??
Why didn't he approach gardening centres first? Then QVC, then supermarkets.
Supermarkets only have a small gardening section and gardeners will mainly get all they need from gardening centres.
It's not that he hasn't got a good product, he's just chosen the wrong place to sell it.
Gardeners who visit garden centres already know how to grow seeds. His target audience are people that don't have experience growing things
@@doghat1619
I understand what you mean but people also visit gc's and don't know what to do.
But, if you are going to a Garden Center, you have zero use for this product…I feel grocery and Dollar stores is the best way…get non gardeners excited to grow something.
@@mommyissuesasmr8040 true true, although i still think gardening centres is a good option.
Not everyone's an experienced gardener in all areas, it could be their first time using seeds.
People often visit gcs with their family/children or friends, not all of them are gardeners.
It's a good idea for kids.
Either way, i hope he's successful.
@@mommyissuesasmr8040The business model seems fundamentally flawed from the get go, experienced gardeners won't want it and people who have never gardened before probably won't want it because they don't want to garden. The market is so niche, people who are looking to garden for the first time and don't want to do it the traditional, cheaper and more rewarding way. I mean the point of gardening is so you can plant that seed with your bare hands and nurture the plant... If the business were to ever work I could only see it working in a D2C model, based on a digital brand, possibly in primary schools but that's niche too.
Something I've noticed about dragons den. They all bash the product then leave 1 dragon left to drain the life out of them and get an even bigger deal.
They all (minus Stephen) praised both him and the product... You're just doing what human beings do - look for patterns to fit your assumptions, whether they're there or not.
@@callum9999Either that, or Mason is comment-baiting.
Jenny “is out.” 🧐
That's how cartels work 😊
@@callum9999Not really, their comments comapare to the phrase "No offense... But.." Back handed compliments imo
We still love and respect Touker there is space for everyone!
Checked today, the company is now in liquidation :(
0:13 Talking about Green that light could do with a bit of a clean Peter 😮
I immediately checked his flies when the lift door opened. I’m sure others did the same??
This is not new it's been in Australia for over 20 years
Have you tried garden centres or b&q and the like......not even asked or mentioned.....asda always springs to mind when I want garden items....
We need this product in my country
There's loads of products like this. How he has a patent, I have no idea!?
If people are going to invest in their gardening hobby then they'll probably buy seeds...Steven is totally right!
Sara - So what's the growth plan? 😅😅 no pun intended
I wonder why its new, same thing sells in Germany every spring and is pretty popular
Very clever guy!
This idea was already done many years ago.
No way it's outselling seen packets.
⛽ 👍🏻
One of the biggest mistakes he made was going all in with one supermarket,,also deffently should have approached garden centres,,,right move going for the license agreement it is the sort of gift idea for kids,,
Sara such a lady
Steve wonder would run away with her ❤
Only seasonal sale
~ Boost!
this exists in the US for a very long time
Guys on the irish version of this dragons are axed if they don't invest , how does tucca survive
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Tuka sulliman can get the growth with the lettuces cabbage 🥬 and tomatoes 🍅
I would probably just delete this comment tbh
Good luck mate
Sara's face said it all that she totally got the product and understood Dan and the true potential - more than Dan himself. Dan understands the product but lacks the business side - pretty sure Sara will be all about execution. I liked this pitch so much that I made an in depth review of it over on my channel - so feel free to take a look and let me know what you think.
I LOVE SARAH!!!
Does this business even still exist? Nothing posted on their fb page for a year and the website doesn't exist. The product was a typical lockdown novelty and is nothing special when compared with packets of seeds, on top of this he has made deals that straitjacket his business. Can't understand why Sara even made an offer and it seems it didn't go through. Price is another issue....£15 for a selection box, and again not available online currently.
Their product got pulled from all Asda locations. They also stopped selling on Amazon october 2023. It seems like the company is or has already been dissolved but I can't 100% confirm since they're trading under a different name.
Ethereum 🎉
These mfs cold😂
Seeds in a packet are nothing new, For Sara is just another business under her wing at 20% which she knows about.
I'm w Steven, i don't get it
UPDATE: not a success story. The company went into voluntary liquidation in January 2024. At least it was not bankruptcy.
Not surprised. It is a gimmick just like Steven presumed. People are particular about what seeds they choose for each climate. This doesn’t makes sense at all
You ruined my day
Like people said you could just buy the seeds and water them. This solves a problem that no one had
Company is in liquidation now and the owner was shot in a gun crime!!
Bullshit, got a big contract in the US
It’s a cartel
I need 99999£ for 9.99%
I got flowers in the garden growing from the same style thing. KABLOOM
I absolutely love the idea. But what's the cost per plant for the consumer and how does that compare to traditional seed planting costs? Accessibility is critical.
Seeds, fertile soil and water should all be universal and free for everyone... Governments must step up to empower this change.
I just feel the dragons are contradictive! If someone goes into retail they question it if someone doesn’t get into retail they question it! Don’t get me wrong I don’t believe they can invest into everything!! But I’ve seen the dragons bash one person for something which they then applaud others for the same reason!
All that money and you can't buy style 😂
Been done decades ago and beet total copy
Steven sometimes wanna act like peter
They gave some BS reasons to decline that one.
This is for rookies. Gardeners and growers buy and plant seeds. It's an overpriced gimmick
😂😂
Are you fu*king joking me?! Uploaded 38 minutes ago and still not first lol
Steven Bartlett is so full of crap
Sara is the best Dragon ,Deborah is a TYRANT and ntbt the rest are meh
Bartlett is a waste of time
Dan. This is why you need common sense thru a reasonable brain fella. You’ll never ever be a financial / business success buddy.
He's got no logic or common sense, shame.
She really needs to find another way to acknowledge agreement. It looks facially terrible. I could say worse
You couldn't possibly "say worse" than that attempt at an English sentence. It looks "facially terrible" is not a sentence anyone has ever ushered.. 🙄
You mean the bulldog face?
Touker wanted to know about "roots to market"... 🤣
Pizza Jones!!!!
