If you’ve trained with a power meter, a smart trainer, smart bike, or a peloton bike for any period of time, you’ve probably seen or heard of power zones. In this video I will go over the FTP tests, how power zones are determined, what each power zone mean, and an example of a power-zone cycling workout.

Do you have or know how to make basic training schemes on TrainingPeaks (or something else) that’s easy to sync to a Wahoo Roam?
TrainingPeaks offers a lot of plans which you can purchase and appear in your TP account and syncs to your Roam. Also, TrainerRoads plans sync to Wahoo Roam.
Last time a made a mistake with ERG and Level mode....ramp test.
In the systm app....
That's 💯😁😁💯
Yeah, there is some back and forth between level and erg mode with Systm and you will miss it if you don’t pay attention. You just have to re-take the test :)
The ramp test is much shorter, much easier and much more wrong 😂.
If u want to know use this:
5min all out -> Pavg(5)
10min rest
20min all out -> Pavg(20)
(Pavg(20)*20 - Pavg(5) * 5) / 15
It's called Monod Scherrer Critical Power. This gives a really good estimate of what you really can do for a full hour. Tried and verfied in races. It takes into account your individual fatigue factor.
Hey !
Super video :)
What is the app training name at 20 sec plz ?
That’s the Peloton using the Peloton Bike.
@@SmartBikeTrainers thank you :D !
Which is better zwift or fulgaz??
If you like real video based rides, then you will find FulGaz to be the better app. On the other hand, Zwift offers a lot more in terms of training and variety of rides as well as running.
@@SmartBikeTrainers i have been running zwift for some time now but wanted to try something new what about wahoo or rouvey
