    Stepney! Always loved his unique color scheme.
    I know it's supposed to look more like the real thing, but it looks very close to Stepney.

      Glad you liked it! Funny story about the colour scheme; Stroudley called it 'improved engine green' even though it was an ochre colour, as a result of him being colour-blind.

      It's based one the diesel at the National Railway Museum in York, the BR Class 08 13079 - which I saw in 2016. Thanks!

    That 08 shunter is fantastic!!, all you need now is lms coaches for Olton Hall and I've actually got that as a hornby model and you can see it on my channel!

    Wow! I just love how much detail you can put into models of this size! What thoughts go into your mind when you are creating these mocs?

      The process usually goes like this: Idea, Part Suitability, Research and then Building! I pick the engine I want to build, check if it's a feasible design to make out of LEGO, find and scale drawings of the real engine and then start to piece together the final product. Long, but worth it!

    ooh good work once more representing these! Here's an idea for a possible train project, make a repair train that can move on its own as well! It will be remote control, and it would be more impressive if the crane is also functional and rc as well.

    I think you should do some videos based on classic story tropes from Thomas the Tank Engine. I would recommend a "runaway" video first, with an engine pulling freight cars going really fast.

    Beautiful layout and gorgeous lego trains! I like the private owner wagons and milk tanker! Ever thought about building any BR DMU classes (Class 150, 170, 175) or (better yet) a steam rail motor?

    While I watch this video, I imagine every engine with a face and like it would be if it was in Thomas and Friends. I also imagine what each engine would be thinking or what it's facial expression would look like based on what it was pulling.

      Same prototype of engine, even the colour scheme! This example represents one class 08 which works at The National Railway Museum, York.

      It wasn't easy, but all it is, is snot work on the side, with the middle be spaced on a jumper plate to create the little gaps for the droid arms.

    Amazing but one question... at 0:47 you can see a train of two coaches the second one looks like a standard passenger coach but is the first one just another standard coach or a full brake or something like that

      I think the one your talking about is a BSK; half brake, half passenger car.

      Unfortunately I decided a while ago not to. Only because the model uses some techniques from other builds and because I like to have some exclusivity to the models I build.

      ​@@Britishbricks On the A1X terriers,I believe the smoke box wing plates were removed and the front wheel well bit things *I forget what they are called* look different to the original.

    Hi, having been brought up around both Lego and steam engines and trains I’d love to have the little terrier and the trucks for our Lego layout, where could I find a parts list or instructions for both of them? They are beautiful models and different from anything that Lego could design.

      Sort of... I usually scale the engines to the parts themselves. Minifigures look about right next to the engines, although their proportions are a little funny.

    I’m having trouble understanding how you power these models, like, where do you put the motors?

      There are two train motors and battery boxes.One fits inside the grey van wagon and there is a motor in one of the carriages, so I can run passenger trains and goods trains.
