    Lovely video. A great austerity tank, running through excellent scenery!

    In case you don’t know the lighting arrangements on the rafting are implying it’s an express passenger. To make it for a goods train you’d want one light at the top and one at the bottom of the smoke box. (In case you care I double checked this with a 62 year old ‘observer’s book of railway locomotives of Britain’ so if that has become outdated since then please let me know as I’ve been using it for my MOCS).

      Don’t get me wrong, I think it’s very very good but I was just thinking you’ve made it so realistic it would be a shame if it wasn’t accurate. Then again it could be using an older headlamp code that predates BR and is specific to the company it’s from. Soz if it sounded critical.

      @Britishbricks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Whoops! Forgot to take the right headlamp off, should've just been a branch line freight train. Good pickup!

      The small station and backdrop at the start of the video, is actually an old design of mine, with some of my other buildings spread out across the layout: www.flickr.com/photos/149351704@N02/49149743628/

      @@Britishbricks Wow really cool buildings. They look fantastic! The details are amazing. Better than lego's modular series. My favorites are the ones on the right side. What are they for? Do you have pictures from more angels? I would love to see a tour of them.

      @@_LLevi_ It was for a modular competition, where I came 2nd. I don't have more photos, but I am doing some renovations at the moment. I might post a video of the final product after its complete!

    Is the motor in the engine itself or one of the carriages?

    Do you give out instructions or where you got the train and cars?

  • @LaZoucheCustomshop
    @LaZoucheCustomshop 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Great video, that layout is immense! The saddle tank runs swiftly and very planted on the track, not much wobble, is it weighted as I know you place the motors in the vans behind?

    • @Britishbricks
      @Britishbricks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, surprisingly. Just lots of parts that weigh it down, every detail helps!

      @@Britishbricks oh yes detail, detail, detail it's what makes it fun, trying and sometimes fustrating, to get that correct look and here you certainly have, hats off to you.

    Just wondered if you could show us any photos of your couplings on Flickr and the parts required, they're genius but I can't figure out what parts they are, if you do put the photos on, please can you let me know?

    • @Britishbricks
      @Britishbricks  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the front couplings, I used LEGO's 5 link chain piece (92338) and cut the middle link, which then gives me two coupling pieces.
