Receiver Rejects My Delivery Bc They Were Overbooked | Day In the Life of a Female Trucker - Vlog 9

A short run delivery of 72 miles turned into an all day event because the receiver was overbooked with deliveries and had no space to place the product. Basically, they needed to use my reefer trailer as a storage unit until they rearranged their freight inside the warehouse. A lot of warehousing companies aren't handling the logistics side of receiving freight, so it's hard to expect warehousing companies to actually work directly with truck drivers. They can barely handle these loads with a 3rd party facilitating pick-ups and deliveries so it's very unrealistic to expect these warehousing companies to work directly with Owner Operators to cut out the over-charging "middle man".
