- Sysco took so long when I delivered to them on the last episode that it interrupted my available hours of service. I was already booked on my next pick up at OSI in Oakland IA so I had to make the best of it. Unfortunately I ran out of hours after both Sysco and my OSI took 4hours each to unload and load. I had to drive through a rain storm and Chicago evening traffic but I still was able to reach Martin Brower (McDonald's) before they closed for the evening. Incredible day...I didn't make my appointment time but at least I was able to reach the facility before it was closed for the day. Diesel Diaries VLOG 18 - Welcome to my Diesal (Diesel) Diaries! Thank youuuuu. Gotta be chill out here. It's really the difference between making sure yourself and others make it home safely, ya know. It's crazy how a lot of our decisions save a lot of four wheelers life every day. They never know how much danger they're in but we see it and help them make it home. Thank you for tuning in and thank you for the support!

18 working to get my cdl permit soon, I was thinking about going to prime since they best fit my needs and wants, but I was curious of what company you drive for and how the hiring process went, do they have cameras in the truck, what trucks do they have in the fleet? I’ve been on the road with my late father since I was 3 years old in his peterbuilt 389 and I’ve been almost everywhere you can think of, I’m looking for more of a traditional trucking experience and can’t wait to conquer the road how my father did.
Wow. First off, congratulations for making such a huge step in your life. I wish I was disciplined and focused like you early on. I really hope you stick with your plan and good luck to you. As far as my company, you have to have experience to drive. We don't take new drivers due to the insurance liability. Sending my condolence to you as well. I know you have some beautiful memories you cherish. If you stick to the road, hit me up after your 2-3 years experience, I'll plug you in personally. Sending much love to you and your family. Stay focused
