I'm having trouble understanding why anyone familiar with Distress products would demo without watching Tim's product introduction, since none of them are really self-explanatory in terms of why they were created and how best to use them. Once you have the basics down, experiments are more likely to be useful.

I understand where you are coming from. However, I like to just play with mediums on my own. I wasn’t demonstrating, just experimenting.

I wasn’t going to get them either because shiny, sparkly isn’t my style. In the end I caved, and the bundle is on its way to me even though I have the Mica Sprays and don’t use them. I’m weak when it comes to Tim Holtz products, but I do use the Spray Stains and Oxide Sprays more than anything else in my craft room.

I agree Tiffany I like to play with products myself to see what I like. Your videos are always interesting.

I just got these and really like them. I made a really pretty card that was so easy. Used white cardstock that I used an embossing folder on. Then I used the Spritz. Stunning result ❤️

I have an inch-long cut from opening mine. I've messaged Ranger on FB and encourage others to do the same.

Thank you for sharing your play time with us Tiffany. I think it would be a good idea now that you've had an unbiased play to maybe watch Tim's video and have another play. I think it's important to know how they were created to work before we make any kind of a judgement. I have them all and still find that some things I do work with them, and some don't. It definitely matters what paper you use. And you have to shake them really well! Sometimes the little things make all the difference.

Well, as if we didn’t need more supplies and fun art things… time to spritz! 😂

Thanks for sharing Tiffany. I always love how you just start experimenting and sharing your real thoughts.
I only order three because I don’t like how mica runs off. Tim said in video it didn’t. So I had to try. I sprayed all 3 and heat set and mica definitely rubs off easily. So no need to get the rest.

You're awesome rebel Tiffany, I love watching your lives even if it's on replay! I'm not a shimmer person maybe just for Christmas, but you had me at the pink and Uncharted mariner, also the stamp I had to order! You are dangerous to my wallet LOL! OH I will definitely take your distress spray class when you do it. You are the QUEEN of Spray stains so I wouldn't miss it. Great learning experience thanks for taking the time to do this.

I find these to be more of a finishing spray, which is why I like them so much. If I want backgrounds with stencils, stamps, etc I will use distress stains.

Tim said you have to wipe the nozzle after you spray, or they will definitely clog.

I haven't been able to afford the sprays, so after watching your video, I've made some with my re-inkers. It's really fun to use them. I'm so grateful you did the video!

I think Tim said the photo paper has to have clay in it, not what most glossy papers are now. Hope that helps. :)

Tiffany it is because of Mary that I know you now! Thanks for a another interesting video...sprays are not my thing but then again I have been making my own mica sprays for over a year. I put Gum Arabic in it, that stops the smearing or rubbing off. I have alot of mica cause I do once in a great while, some resin pouring. I use my mica sprays when I need/want shimmer. I have not tried the stains buy I might buy just those 3 colors you used for that background cause I loved how you took your finger and made purple with it and it was really colorful. Kind of reminded me of doing alcohol ink process. HAPPY 4th of JULY and Have A Blessed Day!

One of the reasons I got the spritzes is because it wasn’t supposed to come off. That’s disappointing
