It's more that I have a pile of lunar pastes and need to use them! I have used them on top of an embossed panel, but I haven't put it in the folder!! That is genius!!! That is happening very soon! I also just got that very same vellum! (Come to think of it, it may have been because you recommended it! 😂) Good to know it can be embossed! Thanks for the tips!

Love the sanded card, I use my embossing folders usually as backgrounds, make lots of white ones and apply ink lightly with brushes if needed

Really cool especially the paste. Another product that is fun to emboss is acetate. It’s not quite as dramatic as vellum but still fun.

I typically use a solution of Photo-Flo Atwater to lightly mist my cardstock before embossing. I ge a crisp deep impression

Whats funny is I have dozens of them and use them a lot for backgrounds I color mine differently but they make awesome backgrounds
By crowd sourcing did you mean you asked people where to find thicker vellum? I’m pretty sure crowd sourcing means to get a group of people to fund a new company or product. Or at least that’s how I’ve seen it used. Love these ideas. I’ve recently been on a kick of using my stencils and emb folders more.

If you don’t have an embossing machine, use a stylus and a mouse pad (or something similar) and hand draw a design. We did a lot of that before embossing machines came along.

Does the paste stretch when you pull the design off the folder?
I don't think it is stretchy.
I tried to emboss using that exact paper and my embossing folder only to have it crack open every time. I never got a single usable vellum sheet.
Did you spray it with water first?
Oh you need machines. Basically if you're poor ubcant do anything
I don't even know what embossing folders are
