      @@BlindedbyDaylight Those were the days when GW boxes still allowed free positioning and more freedom. Shame what became of them.

    • @BlindedbyDaylight
      @BlindedbyDaylight  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@AquamentusZero those regiment boxes were amazing. Although there is a lot to be said about the more dynamic poses of some of say the modern space marine models you can get now. But not so much the Gloom Spite Gitz.

    • @AquamentusZero
      @AquamentusZero 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BlindedbyDaylight The detail is amazing, yes. What I miss is the free posing you could do with the regiment box models. Hips, arms, heads, all could be angled as you saw fit back then. And some parts nowadays are so delicate they break easily just cutting them from the frame.

    • @BlindedbyDaylight
      @BlindedbyDaylight  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    It would make an amazing chessboard with themed pieces. Let's say these night goblins would pass for pawns in their army.

    • @BlindedbyDaylight
      @BlindedbyDaylight  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It would be pretty cool! But at this scale it might be worth making a chess set with the actual miniatures as the board would be massive at the scale I sculpted this guy! 😳

    • @junkers4561
      @junkers4561 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      😆 I used to do all my warhammer fantasy miniatures in the classic goblin green base edges, with citadel flock drybrushed with Sunburst yellow! You know, I did toy with the idea of doing that with these guys, but I just wanted to give them a look that they might be in a cave or skulking around at night in the wastes. Thank you Wesley. I was (and am) still finding my feed editing wise with these slightly older videos. Most of the footage is sped up too much, but that's what hindsight is for. I'm quite lucky in the fact that my background is 2d illustration, and I used to make sculptures for that as drawing reference. My brain works in a 3d kind of way, but now the tables are switched and I usually make one or two messy sketechs of an idea and then sculpt them. Thanks for checking out an older video. And thanks for the good question. More to come 😀
