As an Orkthusiast myself, I couldn't imagine a more fitting video for my Patreon shoutout. I really like the finished models and already excited for the next ones. If I could finally be comfortable enough to finish something, I also would start an Ork army.
I really had problems finishing my projects as well. A nice side effect of having this channel is that I HAVE to finish the stuff I'm working on :D Also thank you again for joining patreon! It really means a lot!
There is nothing quite a regiment of various sculpts and some creative basing. Usually only hardcore 3rd edition chaos collectors do this but it actually makes even the Empire looks good.
Absolutely! Uniformity and coherence are completely at odds with the essence of chaos, as well as with the wild and unpredictable nature of Orks and Goblins. Both factions thrive on pure fun. So, why not spice things up with some miniatures that are not Games Workshop? Mixing things up can add a whole new level of enjoyment to the hobby.
Lovely video as always! This made me want to buy a big pile of hand sculpted metal minis from different companies! Your narrating always makes your videos inspiring and seeing the finished result accompanied by the cheap version of Ecstasy of Gold was amazing! 😄 Can I suggest something that could be improved? The depth of field is quite shallow when you show the finished minis on the turntable, making it harder to see all the details of the minis at the same time. I've worked with this, so let me know if you want some tips on how to adjust it 😊
Thank you! I appreciate your kind words. I understand what you mean about the shallow depth of field; while it can enhance certain shots, it would have been beneficial to have a broader depth for this particular one. Regrettably, I'm working with an older camera sporting an outdated sensor. Consequently, I often find myself needing to narrow the aperture to capture enough light for the shot, which, unfortunately, exacerbates the issue. Moreover, anything shot above an ISO of 200 tends to result in significant graininess. Additionally, this camera lacks autofocus, making it a constant struggle to achieve sharpness in my pictures. Hence, it's primarily an equipment limitation rather than something I can readily adjust. If you'll pardon my shameless plug, the best way to support me in overcoming these limitations would be by becoming a patron. Every contribution goes directly into improving my channel and, ultimately, acquiring a new, modern camera. Currently, ad revenue isn't making much of a dent in this endeavour! 😄
Well, that was fun to watch again, thanks! Btw I was thinking about getting into Heroquest again and was wondering what your interpretation of that classic board and the figurines would look like. Any chance that that could be something of interest for you?
Thank you! Glad you like it! I'm also interested in getting into Heroquest. Currently, I don't have any plans to create content for it, but that could certainly change in the future.
What a wonderful video - thank you!
Thank you for watching! 🙂
These are brilliant, I really like how you've made this varied group seem cohesive via basing and their paintjobs
Thank you very much :)
Love seeing the Hero Quest goblin!
I was sooo happy when I found it on EBay.
This is one of the coolest goblin units I've seen. Love that you used unique goblins to build it. And the result looks absolutely fantastic

Great Stuff, thank you
This has to be one of my favourite videos of yours Matt. I love your squig and goblin content. So awesome to see a variety of models in this project.

I absolutely agree. There are so many great miniature companies out there!

Good stuff. Your colors are great.
Gotta slip some Kev Adams sculpts in there!
Orcs & Goblins are pure fun..
I absolutely agree!
Another great episode!!
Thanks!
Is that an in-line airbrush moisture trap?! I’ve never seen one before! Great!
Yes! Found it on Amazon a while back, as I had problems with moisture coming from the compressor. It works like a charm!
Looking nice

They look awesome!!! ❤😊❤
Thank you 🙏
@@LenricsRealm you are welcome 🤗
Well, this has inspired me to pull the trigger on a dozen or three disparate goblin models I've had my eye on.
One can never have too many goblins.
WAAAAAGGHHHHH
It’s orc not ork in fantasy. Cool project! Subscribed!
You're right! Probably my german brain ruining my spelling there :D
Great video - am I hearing a slight GERMAN accent here? Greetings from Lower Saxony ;o)
You got me there! It's very hard to hide it :D Greeting back from LS as well!
@@LenricsRealm haha, ich war nicht 100% sicher denn Dein englisch ist sehr gut... war so ein Gefühl, die Niedersachsen erkennen sich eben 😅
