3:26 When Terra asked her mom if she saw her pictures and she complimented her, my heart went so soft seeing the Terra’s little smile. It made me wanna hug her 😭😭😭 such a sweet and precious child. The parents are sweet and precious too. I hope they live long and happily together 🥺🥺🥺

She is seeing the reality of her life ending and in a way that is probably comforting her but doesn't realize that saying that to her husband is heartbreaking to him. I am glad they said something. Different perspectives on death, I guess.
They are such a supportive family and he as a husband.
For a condition like diabetes, it might be good for Amanda to consult someone in Canada or Europe. Diabetes type 1 isn’t common in South Korea so they’re less specialized. They have great healthcare and help a lot with overall health, but Amanda can probably get better technology and consultation in the west where it’s much more prevalent. Plus, it’s probably quite hard to get help when you’re not fluent in the language. Hopefully she can get a libre or dexcom (a device which constantly checks blood sugar and can send it to your phone) and a pump/omnipod (pumps insulin. It pumps a small dose at all times and for meals you adjust it manually). They make life so much easier and keeps your blood sugar much more stable. I wish Amanda and her family the best.
Or she can seek help in Singapore.
I heard that stem cells could cure type 1 diabetes although I am not sure if that's true

He’s so caring and loving! Amanda, I know how it terrible it is to have such a terrible thing like that happen, but you will live a long healthy life, especially since you’re in a country that takes medicine very seriously. You guys are beautiful!

Interesting, I wouldn’t think Amanda would let her daughter model so young especially when she lost interest in it. She didn’t like how she felt when modeling after some time. I figured she’ll wait till her daughter is old enough.
I was thinking the same thing, I found it kind of strange. If the daughter wanted to feel like a model she could just do a little fashion show play at home, no need to go through the hair styling, make up, and going to an actual place to do it if it wasn't for the parent's benefit.

I feel they might have some financial strain on their family to make such a decision. The daughter doesn't enjoy it, it's difficult to deal with for the dad as well...
There is a big difference between child modelling and adult modelling - Tara at that age is not exposed to pressures of weight and beauty ideals. They are good parents trying to make a better life for her who are clearly mindful of putting too much pressure on Tara to model.
i would love to see terra in return to the superman ! this family is lovely.
I was just thinking how I would like to see her more but I don’t think their family fits the format of the return of superman. It’s supposed to be about a famous parent staying home and long after the kid/s while the partner can go out and do something else.

What a dedicated husband
man. as a type 1 diabetic myself, seeing her suffer is hard. But!! technology really makes it better- if she could get a cgm at least, she could at least check her blood sugar before her meal and calculate the insulin-carb ratio better as well! With that, her hba1c can get better and at least this health concern of hers wouldn't hinder her from having a child :]
I know this was already half a year ago, but I hope she has improved since then and is doing better, wishing alll the best!!

I appreciate that her parents want to make a better life for her but I think they should really think about the long term consequences with associating this little girls success with how she looks. To me it just looks like shameless exploitation and it could really mess her up in the future tbh

@@veramoraa5609 she hasn’t had the choice to decide for herself whether she wants modelling to be her career though has she? How old is she, maybe 3/4 years old - clearly it’s her parents choice to push modelling on her. Sure she’s pretty and cute but that doesn’t mean she naturally ‘fits’ into modelling and therefore she should be forced to be a child model. Her parents should let her live a normal life as a normal kid if they really care about her future mental health
@@dollyhoneypie first of all shes too young to make her own decisions and therefore its her parents role to do that for her, and if they have agreed too let her do it and shes not resisting much why not, idk if they are forcing her really to do tht its normal for children to not want to do things even like making their own hair and parents have to soothe them to do that and i dont see it as abnormal for a child no be a model, don't we have children who are model, if uts a gift ability then let them try, she'll soon be older and will say if she doesnt want to

This family is honestly so beautiful. It seems like everyone truly cares about everyone. But please stop your kid's modelling career. Even the mom said it was a really harsh industry, why would you like to push your kid into that at such young age?
I think its ok if its this age, she just puts some clothes, sit and look at the camera, she is in no diet or smt. She wont even remember about her modeling career🤭 and its an extra income that maybe goes on her candies or toys. And then when she is older she will decide if continue of doing it as a hobby or smt else

diabetes is horrible, my mom has it and she feels tried all the time, dizzy and sometimes me and my sister are scared she’ll faint. she got diagnosed recently, and has started her diet.

If my child turned out good looking I wouldn't force them to model. I'd rather they make that decision when they are old enough and understand what it means.

She's too young to model but I understand her parents. I just hope they don't put any pressure on her. Especially d part she's asking if her mom saw her pictures. I hope thats not her MO. Lavishing praise on the child when she models

The mom said she quit modeling because she didn't like how it made her feel but they force the kid to model and bribe her with candy. Smh.
She quit because she sick. Professional modelling is very though and sometimes you must rushing at the backstage for changing. For a diabetis patient, its quit a lot energy consuming when you need to do jobs quickly in short time. You'll feel you body is not your, if you dont have enough energy thats why she said she dont feel to like modelling anymore.
But for the kids its good to expose them at early child with some careers just like playing music instruments, dancing, acting and singing most of them are learning from their childhood time and sometime the kids already become celebrity at young age. Because when the kids are growth up, they will become more talented and confident so they might get used to what they already learn and exposed if they want to pursue the career. Just like how most great and talented actor or singer they are already exposed to the jobs since they already a kid thats why the become very good and talented. Talent is not born when you growth, its a process thats you must learn from early childhood and only good parent know how make their kids become more talented.

Just look at the stories of famous Hollywood child actors and you'll see that good intentions doesn't always count for everything. There's a difference between harnessing a child's talent and also putting them into the spotlight

When your kid is feeling down don't force them to work wtf as a parent you should know when to stop and let them rest . She's very young and the pressure is not healthy poor kid
They can’t just cancel the gig at the last minute they have a contract. They would probably be fined hundreds of dollars for breaking the contract. The dad said he feels bad pushing her when she feels down but he can’t just stop in the middle of the shoot or they’ll loose lots of money.
If you have diabetes can you eat that much white rice? Cuz I remember the lady I lived with couldn't eat rice despite being Asian. It was really sad.
It depends on the type of diabetes and because she cannot eat gluten, I think Rice is her best chance of getting some carbs!

But some great dancer, actor and singer also forced by their parent at early childhood to learn and exposed them to the world of the celebrities even the kids dont know anything. Isnt thats just the same situation. The kids parent might see great future in the career so they want the kids to get used to it before they growth up. Talents is not born but most talented artist was trained and exposed to the celebrities world at early childhood thats why they came out as great artist. If you talent just born without be trained then you are wrong. A talent models also must be trained since they are kids, not just right when they enter the modelling career.

@@Im_Who_Im lol you don't know the entertainment industry well do you. i can tell you from experience that it's trash through and through. It only looks pretty on the outside. And those that start out working young, sometimes regret it later because when they look back, they didn't get to have a childhood and it causes sadness in their adult life. In her case, it doesn't seem her parents work her like a slave, but I hope it doesn't become that way where they depend in the children's income instead of their own (ie. britney spears). I just hope they know the child's limits and put her feelings first.
