I remember once, me and other riflemen lads grouped up on the left flank of the british line infantry going slightly down a hill and then up a hill again, up against french line infantry... it was beautiful. open field, us picking off french riflemen, officers, drummers or colour carriers, with the british line slowly advancing, finally breaking the enemy line. only experienced it once, and it was magnificent. Honestly, felt like I was playing an episode of 'Sharpe's' lol.
Games like these are hard to work, not because of the devs, but the playerbase that doesn't care to play as a team. They're used to CoD, BF, Halo, and most other generic shooters that don't care about teamwork. It's ashame too since it would be alot more fun. I can appreciate when mods create events that only allow people to play if they play like this. 👍

Though fun to fire off volleys, I didn't see any of the buffs that give you benefits in battle provided by the officer. FIring when he tells you (and he hits the correct keyboard commands) gives you a 10% increase in accuracy, the charge order lets you take an extra bullet from enemies, keeping you alive for a while longer, and increased melee damage.

I wish this game was always like this, this is exactly what I wanted when I got this game. If you want a game that looks like this regularly, war of rights is REALLY good, although you can only find a server with a reasonable amount of players between 4 and 7 o’clock pacific time.

Team work is rare, but you'd think people playing a multiplayer game, would want to play with other player, hence the multiplayer part, then they proceeding to play it like a FPS with human enemies instead of ai
