As an Aussie (thinking of buying a Honda XR150L as my first ever bike), I not only watched the WHOLE video, I thoroughly enjoyed it!! Thank you for posting sir.
I’ve been around for a couple of years since the old school chopper road trip video and I can still say 100% this is my favorite channel. I wish I had your positivity. Genuinely a great guy.
Shadetree! Thanks for this video. I've been riding for over 40 years and ride my bucket list bike. My 1997 Honda Valkyrie. My 20 year old son just bought his first motorcycle this year. A 2023 XR150! And even though he is ready to step up to a bigger cc bike now. I have fallen in love with that little XR! Stuck in traffic? Hell no! There I a curb and a grass field calling my name every time! This video will go to my son to watch what you did on the little XR that could! Thanks again. And we will be getting a ticket for the XR! Maybe a father son XR trip is in our future! Thanks again! Keep the great videos coming and the work for Forgotten Angel's! I'm the father of 4. And hope all of the kids you guys help can get placed on the good path of being bad people doing good things. Because that is truly where living life is!
Hahahah been watching for years. That mountain road with the Kia is literally in front of my house. I travel it every day. I wish I knew you were in town. Keep up the good work, brother
Thanks. I've told people for years that folks used to go cross country, two up, on a 305 Dream. You're proving what's doable. A little planning (very little), and being kind to folks you meet can really make the trip. Keep on!
Yeah man, Pennsylvania is BEAUTIFUL! While I wish I'd gotten into motorcycling a few decades earlier, learning to ride in PA during lockdown with all those empty roads was an absolute blessing. I still adore riding around here. I've yet to make it further west than Lititz/Lancaster, making it only out to Intercourse, PA yesterday, but god damn it's beautiful here! I don't know how you and Chey do it with these cross country rides, though. 117 miles on my 2003 Sportster yesterday and my right hand and foot were both hurting from the vibrations. I can't imagine the buzzy whine of a 150cc thumper would be easier on anyone! Bravo to you guys for managing riding miles that I could only dream of accomplishing at this point!
This inspired me to take a 160 mile trip to my friends house on mine. I always have high anxiety riding anywhere outside of city limits on my xr150. I took the plunge yesterday! It was a blast!
This may have been one of my favorite videos of yours. OF COURSE you had an extra life! You and Chey laughing in the mist actually brought a small tear to my eye. 🎉❤
It would have been great if you plumbed the large fuel tank into your fuel line to the carb, then you would not have to stop to refill the tank. Love the videos.
Your a good man and an inspiration no matter what you think of your self Josh i don't see you as a "bad person" you do so many good things for instance you have brought all of us weirdos together to do great things with FA. Love ya brother and i hope top make it to a campout soon so we can kick it in person been a fan for over 10 years now. Hell you inspired me to buy my first bike. You make me One more of us! PSA... NOT A CULT!!!
Hope your day is going great! I ride a 1994 GL1500 and would love to do this but i live in Michigan so it'd have to be a trip to Florida. I also want to say thank you for the work you do on here. It has literally saved my life! I was not doing great a while back and watching your videos helped me through my evil thoughts. Keep up the great work and awesome content sir! And ride fast!
Good job, Shadetree! I love these long road trip videos. They inspire us new (and seasoned) riders that with a little bit of planning and a lot of moxie you can experience amazing adventures at a minimal cost.
Dude! My daughter and I watched this as we were eating dinner on tv trays in the living room .What a great adventure. We were laughing and I totally lost it when I heard “acoustic motorcycles “ Good shit right there.Ill probably make a cocktail and watch it again in case I missed anything . Take care !!
I live in Iowa and went on a 400 mile round trip to Wisconsin on my R.E. Classic 350. Same idea: One tank of gas (overkill for a short trip, i know). I bought an old military jerry can and can holder from eBay a while ago. I have the holder strapped on to my tuny luggage rack. With the 5 gallon can full, its definitely hefty, and it most definitely changed my riding capabilities while going down dry and wet gravel roads. I even wiped out on some mud going 35mph. Damn good time.
Damn Amigo! You came right through my major metropolis of a hometown, Folkston Ga! That’s the first red light you come to up US1 from Florida. I hope I catch ya next time, you got a margarita from the local Mexican restaurant on me! Loving your content!
I luv it when he does stuff like this. 😁 This is the epitome of YOLO and living in the now. If you want to do something, just go for it. Always bring your brain with you of course but nothing is holding you back.
Loved the tenacious power of your will and outlook to always find the best in whatever situation comes around the next bend. And props to the little XR150...I think I can...I think I can! Wishing the two wheeled adventures could last year round but alas, here in Washington state, the weather only allows about 8 months at best. Keep on keeping on! Great cause and really enjoy your vids.
Great video Mr shadetree! One of my favorite videos and I’ve watched them all. I love my little XR just a fun little bike! Oh, by the way it does have a reserve! 🤣😂. You guys rock!!
Just stumbled across your video after searching minibike cross country for the last bit since getting my minibike. You were in my fyp. So glad i clicked to watch. You sir are hilarious and entertaining go watch you have a new sub here.
Awesome video shade tree. Love these types of videos. You inspire me to take road trips on my motorcycle. I’m 21 with a 2006 Honda vtx 1300 my 3rd bike. Keep up the good videos 👍🏽
Nahunta, Ga is where the two time College Football National Champion Quarterback from Univ. of Ga., Stetson Bennett now with the LA Rams is from. Big place. When I lived in Ga last yr I was only 25 miles from Jesup. Small world. Be safe.
INCREDIBLE Man! You just made me want to win that thing if for nothing else ( LOl I can think of lots of cool things to do with that actually ) to ride that from here in Idaho to see the family on jack squat for gas money! How fun this video was? It was right up there in your Top 20 for sure dude and I am telling you I have seen them all. i calculated my Gas consumption for a trip to south Texas from here on the GL1500A ( 1999) that YOU sir inspired me to go hunt down and find for just over 1.00 per CC and the cost was over 400.00 dollars. sadly. I aint got that kinda change. BUT I am in the harness and from what i gather, that makes me a active participant ! so exciting to be a part of all this Bro. no joke.
Seems like putting in a T before the carb to get fuel directly from the aux tank would be pretty easy and a lot nicer than the manual pump. Good on you guys for helping kids. Kids are always innocent, always.
I love your blending of the real adventure with virtual adventure from some of our favorite games. I was going to ask if you filled up before you left when you had to fill up the first time. But the Honda lie was bigger than they led on. Cool you got to see her two wheels at Seneca Rocks. I expected that you had a backup for fuel, but the extra life paint colored me surprised! Glad to see you and Chey had a great time on your travels, and welcome to Canada. Hope to see you guys on my side sometime.
I started watching your channel on a regular basis after you bought that Silver Wing in L.A. then drove it to Tampa. I said to myself there is something wrong with this guy. I then realized I had to watch more and have not regretted it since. Then you ride an XR 150 Honda from Tampa to Canada. You have re-confirmed my original thought. Your ass must hate you. Brother I really enjoyed this video. Keep traveling just beyond the edge. The Shovelhead is my next best video across the U.S. Thanks for the video!!
Josh you're correct, nobody lives in South Carolina,I found that out in June when I rode from Ormond to Ohio by way of US 26 W to US 23 N !.BUT it was a solo adventure for sure. May I add Tennessee has the #1 rest areas in the world !
Been anticipating a road trip video from you since your last cross country trip. Did not disappoint. Enjoyed the content and can not wait until the next one
I’m with you about rain gear, hate it! As a fellow Floridian,it’s miserable, especially on hot days. I’ll wear a rain jacket every once in a while on cooler days, but even that is very rare
You were about 70 miles from where I live in Rochester NY. Glad to see you loved the Falls, as I go there to think sometimes on my trike. Glad you made it and back safely.
After the first nights camping,. I was looking forward to the overnight parts. Something tells me the nights were adventures all to themselves. Nice ride!
Bro…. Hands down my favorite adventure and you totally made it on one tank. You have a gallon to Her2Wheels…. I was so, invested until the end. Shadetree Army, victorious!
Glued from the beginning to the end of the vid... Love your videos, and this one just made me root for what your doing evan more. Loved the extra life bit, and yes, in my book that was a victory! 🥳 🎉 Now, time for a bissniss beer!🍺

I'm doing Wisconsin to Tampa on a moped in the future, but I've got the fuel and vacant lot camping roughly figured out. Some campgrounds when I feel I need a shower, otherwise a swim in the creek. Only carrying about a quart of extra fuel, a tent, and a stove like yours.

Good job Josh I think Chey should have been in her bikini at the falls❤
And I'm going to the campout! Just bought my plane ticket.
This dude is definitely my new go to for anything TH-cam entertainment.
I appreciate the support and I’ll do my best to not disappoint! ;)
Of course you made it. At the end was the best part. Cheylessi’s laughing out loud was pure happiness. Good job little XL150
That was some pure laughter from Chey, good for the soul!
As an Aussie (thinking of buying a Honda XR150L as my first ever bike), I not only watched the WHOLE video, I thoroughly enjoyed it!! Thank you for posting sir.
Awesome choice for a first bike, also thanks for watching!!

Hahahah been watching for years. That mountain road with the Kia is literally in front of my house. I travel it every day. I wish I knew you were in town. Keep up the good work, brother
Ok, this has to be my favorite video you have done. I thoroughly enjoyed every 1 hour 7 miniuts and 39 seconds. You're one funny dude
Thanks. I've told people for years that folks used to go cross country, two up, on a 305 Dream. You're proving what's doable. A little planning (very little), and being kind to folks you meet can really make the trip. Keep on!
A smile and a kind word will get ya far I’ve found!
Damn it Shadetree I have had about 27 business beers and i thought the premier was tonight lol smh ill catch all you weirdo’s tomorrow
Best visual storytelling yet. You're really getting good at this style.
Mr surgeon, I’ve been a long time fan. And I must admit this is one of the best videos I’ve seen yet. Wishing you luck and great success, sir!
I appreciate that!

It's the gloves lol
Honda built one good motorcycle for sure. You can't kill them
it killed itself within the first 100 miles, cluster instant K0
Love the long form trip! “I failed geometry in high school” made me spit my PBR LMAO! You’re a badass my friend.
This inspired me to take a 160 mile trip to my friends house on mine. I always have high anxiety riding anywhere outside of city limits on my xr150. I took the plunge yesterday! It was a blast!

I absolutely love this man's content. Living through your videos.
the whole video was great--maybe one of the best--and meeting chey at the end was a terrific ending--it made the room.

I wish I thought about having a siphon
I had to keep removing the jerky can and lifting it to pour
Slow stuff trying not to drop gas on tank

An adventure with purpose, of course. Nicely done. 🤘🏻
I luv it when he does stuff like this. 😁 This is the epitome of YOLO and living in the now. If you want to do something, just go for it. Always bring your brain with you of course but nothing is holding you back.
It's sad, small towns are drying up every !

Riveting on the edge of my seat another great two wheeled wizard has adventure to spread magic as he crosses the world
Great video for me. I needed this vicarious trip/adventure. Wish I had wealth to finish off the need for that house.

I just found you. And what a video to start with. As a fellow rider and gamer I doubly appreciate watching. Thanks for sharing friend.
I was late but just watched the entire video. I really admire what you all do. Greatness indeed.
I know these long trips can't happen every week but they're by far my favorite.
I just rode a klx230 800 miles last weekend, those small dual sports are something special, touring on them is like nothing else
Bro!! Next time you ride this way, look a brother up if you’re running low on fuel.. you know of my cvma brothers and we’re all here to help!!
You were about 70 miles from where I live in Rochester NY. Glad to see you loved the Falls, as I go there to think sometimes on my trike. Glad you made it and back safely.
Tip my hat to you !! Incredible journey for an amazing cause. You have a king size pair of balls. God Bless
After the first nights camping,. I was looking forward to the overnight parts. Something tells me the nights were adventures all to themselves. Nice ride!
I LOVE your long trip videos. This may be the best ever and I loved the shovelhead one.
Probably the best video yet. Good job man.
That banana moment was the most peaceful thing I’ve seen all day 🙌
Just a boy and his banana 🍌
Banana?
I don't know how he ate the peach. Someone would find me in the ditch with peach sauce all over my face.
@@jeremynelson8496😂
Bro…. Hands down my favorite adventure and you totally made it on one tank. You have a gallon to Her2Wheels…. I was so, invested until the end. Shadetree Army, victorious!
Well, one tank plus another bigger tank plus a fuel bottle. But still...
Love Shadetree adventure vids! The Fallout reference was awesome
F yeah! Stock shock did that?? Freaking Honda man. 🔥⭐️
An hour and seven minutes of ramblings of a Florida madman...it will take me 4 dayz to recover.
Awesome video. Need a surplus tank with baffles in it but you mastered the slosh!
May not be “1 tank”, but definitely no gas stations. Great job!
Glued from the beginning to the end of the vid... Love your videos, and this one just made me root for what your doing evan more.
Loved the extra life bit, and yes, in my book that was a victory! 🥳 🎉
Now, time for a bissniss beer!🍺
Awesome trip. You just keep raising the bar. Guess I need to find a fish tank to strap to the back of the Sportster now...
best hour I ever spent on youtube!
Looks like a blast. Josh you always have great adventures.
Well that was cool. You should go on the Scooter Cannonball one of these days.
Throughly enjoyed this video, had me cracking up at the end 😂
Love your adventures. South Carolina is one step away from a zombie feast.
33:00 They do make some damn good food. I stopped at a Mennonite restaurant in Minnesota that had amazing food and great hospitality.
Plus, they always pick spots with wonderful views.
I haven't watched a movie that was this good in a while.👍👍
This what I'm talking about! Adventure across the green galaxy that is mother earth!
Love it, ride what ya got!
Super late to the party but this was amazing. Definitely adding the motivation to finally make it down this year.😊
Dang that first meal looked awesome!!!....
I watched all the way to the end, never had a doubt in my mind (🤔70% ain't bad). Hey, Chey, Dave, Cindy and Sessions.
Most fun I've had in years, bout to get off my ass after years. Also inspired by Forgotten Angels, thanks
dope video bro ... never been to Pennsylvania, I have been to Kentucky and actually Pennsylvania reminds me of exactly what I remember from Kentucky. lol
Epic Dude! I love these Travel videos you do. Grab the old Joe the mountain Jedi and y'all ride up here to southern Indiana 👍
Great video, you could have went over the Peace Bridge. The official route to Canada but you made it. Congratulations an amazing job my Friend
When are you going to hit another hare scramble? Loved those videos, I was starting to enter them at the same time you were and it was funny to see you were verbalizing the things I was thinking....lol
Brother what an adventure. That's shit you wont soon forget.
One of my favorite channels. (Of course I watched the whole thing).
I was really worried about you riding with that big plastic box of gas on the back. That was dangerous.
(and I was hoping you would bring a little extra fuel.)✌
I'm doing Wisconsin to Tampa on a moped in the future, but I've got the fuel and vacant lot camping roughly figured out. Some campgrounds when I feel I need a shower, otherwise a swim in the creek. Only carrying about a quart of extra fuel, a tent, and a stove like yours.
“I don’t know what Pennsylvania and Kentucky have in common.” Meth. It’s Meth. Welcome to NY! Nice Scott Pilgrim ending 😂
