Is it just me, or was he reacting to a pre-recorded summon lol. Like he was summoning off camera but was screen recording just in case, and felt like he needed to add "real" commentary over it for the video

The only reason id assume the gohan wouldnt swap in is because he 1. knew he still had the endurance with goku and 2. because you were just going to nullify unfavorable elements with the main since you had the gauge full and he had 2 characters left
