I loved that the deconstruction came from how he was a gamer...but not an 'RPG' gamer or an anime fan so he didn't know about the tropes and cliche's that were popping up everywhere around him. So he honestly thought that the tsundere really didn't like him.

feel like 200,000 is great for Japan but that's grossly underpaid by US standards. I think that's what High Gradian Spice was pulling and that show sucked. Rick and Morty is estimated at being around a million per episode. Arcane was like 90 million for the whole thing which kind of comes out to 10 million per episode. I know it's 3D but still. And in the live action circuit, Ashoka was supposedly 300 million, but Disney looooves wasting money.
So yeah 200,000 is being screwed over for an anime like this imo but Japan has always had a problem with underpaid animation.

How much did you think animation costs, Airier? WALL-E costed about 180 million bucks IIRC. Anime is dirt cheap to produce more often than not.
