I’ve had no luck at all with ZTW g2’s and these shark g2’s ZTW don’t warrant either they just argue till you give up, the 130 amp g2 caught fire and nearly destroyed my boat. Good luck with it.
May I suggest an outrigger ? (two outrunners on one solid shaft perhaps ?) You've seen the kind of props they use ? Reminds me of the leaves of a tulip.. Hand finished out of VERY rough castings.......I'll try getting some of those, Will send one if desired (and all goes well) Keep you posted......
@@grrfy same, just got a 60A Shark for my 3s/ 3100KV brushless swap on the Jet Jam. Decided to bite the bullet and drill through the hull and the jet outlet, that way I can go water cooled for the motor and esc. I like full throttle and I don't want anything burning up on me. Hope it works out for us both lol 😅
@@bradfisher22 I still need to solder conectors and stuff to mine, that sounds like a good sensible mod to me,it really helps, will follow on here and see how you do
I'm building the 21"twin cat as you know and I did look at these esc. I didn't like that there wasn't a 90 amp because I wanted 20 percent more esc amperage than the motor requires, and second the programming card was more than the motors like you said. Also i didn't like the water cooling they had going on, or not going on. It just wasn't enough for these motors. Anyway I went with 2 reliable flycolor 90. Can't go wrong with those and I have the room, barely. Bg4l
I'm wondering if you know how I should program the ESC to make it stop automatically when it loses connection from the transmitter. I turned off the transmitter before I unplugged the battery, and the motor went to full power. Thank you!
Most rudders have a water pickup and nipple, yes run water from the rudder to the esc and out the boat. This boat was so small it didn't need any cooling
May be intended for bigger hulls (yes) but can we see a twin outrunner cat / rigger / mono in (near) future ? I do like the scream of those....... An Asian guy mounted 7 outrunners on 1 solid shaft long hull outrigger. Wow !
Hot dam won't be long now and we'll finally get to see that thing run! Can't wait!
I've been wanting to try one of those sharks.👍
Thank you so much you helped me to get my boat working👍😊
Hello
C est un tres bon variateur, je l utilise en 50 amp en 3s et 4s sur mon catamaran de 40 cm avec un tenschoc viper1515/ 4000kv.
thanks for the info! I have just ordered a couple of the 50amp to for small jetboat and the tyxin768 also subscribed !

Bro which motor will be best for my 17 inch catamaran ? Motor under 9 dollars 😢
X-team 2440 4500kv was a good motor for my 17' catamaran 40a speed control, and you're in business. Unfortunately it's a little more than 9 bucks
Big b i have a request. Can you show us how to solder the end of a flex cable and possibly the flex cable to prop tip. Thanks
Hi fellow, Have these shark esc proved reliable in your use?
Yes, I've had great success with this one.
@@IRONCLADRC ahh thanks for the reply I have just ordered a couple of the smaller 50 amp ones , small jetboat mod inbound!

what kind of brushless ?

Are we meant to pump water through the pipe of the ESC?

I saw that 7 outrunner setup. It looked cool as hell! 👌 Planning another twin build, can't decide on the hull.
