I sat down with Theo De Blic to chat about harnesses and their differences. Hopefully this video helps you to make more informed choise next time you consider getting a new harness.

great video thank you. you mentioned theo showed you a way to reduce your riser distance on a harness that has them by default set too wide. my ozone solos light is not adjustable in the waist as it has a fixed sewn strap so the risers are about 48 cm apart which is way too wide for me. can you tell me how to reduce this width ? many thanks.
One more thing: you correctly state that pods are by definition less protective when it comes to the protector; for hobby pilots - aka 99.5% of all pilots - a 10cm bigger cross section on pods would not compromise aerodynamics much, yet would allow protectors to be thicker and protect much better. Pods with 40-45G and worse, only protect on a straight-downwards crash, but not on the lower back or outside the tight certification rules. Why? Sad!
It would be great if not only acro, but all harnesses had adjustable or removable ABS. Skywalk Range XAlps 3 or Bogdanfly Cocoon v2 are two recent examples that I like for that fact. Optional Seatboard with no/little ABS give such precise control :) Why is this not done for all harnesses?
