Hello your videos are really useful to understand the expense and lifestyle of Tanzania. Actually I got a job offer from aspeen pharma as country manager with monthly salary of 2500 us dollar. They will provide me car only for traveling and School fees of my daughter will be provided by company. Remaining all expense like House rent, Food and all is on me. So is 1000$ enough for a family of 3 including rent and all expense. Is 2500$ monthly good salary in Dar es salam.
Sir, I have limited knowledge of rent though I am sure that good gated apartments are almost $600-1000 a month in Dar es salaam. Please ask your employer to share some renting options and the area you will be based in.

sir, it completely depends on the lifestyle however the minimum should be $500 but it can go up to 800-1000 usd with having car and fuel, full-time maid, weekends going out etc.
I think u made mistake 100 mbs is 110 usd (250000tshs) fiber Wi-Fi,10-20 mb is 30 usd =69000 tshs or around that

If you are not renting your own place then the single person can easily survive on 300-400 USD it also matters if you would cook yourself or have tiffin/eating out etc does matter.

@@kuldeepsingh-pd3ro I meant the eligibility required by the company. I am not a recruiter so it is hard for me to comment. I think you can check and apply online if there are positions. There are good hospitals like aga khan hospital, saifee hospital etc. (please check online)

This amount is enough for basic food and some utilities but not sufficient including more than basic.

@@manishsingh3970 I think yes you will manage if you will entirely cook in the house. Eating out might get expensive. This figure will make it tight for you to manage however is manageable.

It is new a set up with special need children .My salary is in 75000INR pm. When I purchase grocery, fruits etc. Every time convert in indian rupees it is very expensive. Everyday tsh convert in inr is good or bad. My manager provided only transport and accomodation. All others expensive mine. My salary is good ? And how much saving am I.

Yes you can easily save 1100 USD and use 530000 fro living expenses. However it depends on your lifestyle and savings potential.

Hello, Thank you fro subscribing. I assume your questions is in terms of security and education. Tanzania is the most safest country in east Africa or Africa I believe. There are some petty theft and you might be advised not to use mobile phone on streets or wear expensive jewellery otherwise its is great. There are some good schools and Indian school as well (in Dar es salaam).

i think the house clean, electricity bill is misleading, its almost imposssible or either u dont switch on the AC at all as well as the maid. the apartment is also not 300$. You can not live in 600$ in tanzania its almost impossible.
Please dont mislead people in such a way.
@@ritikramaiya Sorry that my expenses didn't match with yours however it depends on the usage. I did mention in my video that AC is rarely used in our house as it is very airy. The maid is twice a day for me which is enough. Rent could be doubtful since I am not renting and after COVID I have heard that rent has gone high but not sure.

It depends if you are getting accommodation or not and which city of Tanzania you have got a job in. Without accommodation one person can easily live for 300-400 USD.

Sir drinking water is TSH 3500 for 13 ltr water, the internet is TSH 69000 per month and the tiffin service is TSH 20000 i think for lunch and dinner of a day (I am not sure exact fro tiffin but I can confirm later)

@@ankushghankutkar2403 The salary is completely dependent on your experience and the position that is offered to you. You definitely can't negotiate on the cost of living as it is almost the same or less than India.
Fresh fruits and vegetables are easily available and you can easily get familiar groceries though a little higher price than in India.

- Medical facilities are good with hospitals like Aga Khan, Saifee hospital etc.
- You get bottled water, tap water is not recommended for drinking.
- The rent has changed after covid so I am not sure. I have seen good dealers like remax etc her so you can check online.
- Malaria is not as bad in cities as it is in country side.

@@AMukherjee The city is safe as long as you take basic precautions. The most of threat is phone snatching.
The car is easy to buy and all cars are imported from Japan and at a fair price. Getting a driving licence is easy too.
I don't see any problem with having the elderly here. The city is low pollution, has fresh organic produce and good medical facilities as long as something very particular that you may need assistance with.
