HOW TO Double PULL THROUGH BRAID Tutorial

- In this Tutorial I will show you EXACTLY HOW TO do a Double PULL THROUGH BRAID! You can apply this same technique to a normal pull through braid too, just don't split the sections into 2! This complicated looking hairstyle is actually SUPER EASY! Just make sure to have ton of hair elastics handy! This braid has many names including: pull through fishtail braid, French pull through braid, and butterfly braid. This pull through braid is also considered a "Faux French Braid" thats just spread out! So even if you can't get the hand of French braiding, you may be able to do this look!

Take a q-tip dip it in a little tea tree oil, touch it to the band & it pops! Easy removal for hairstyles like these! Especially if you’re doing it on kids 🤩

You can get the elastics out with a curling iron. Use it to gently burn part of the elastic. 💖

I'm super curious as to what it would look like it after you did the whole thing you cut out the elastics? Like how would it sit? And I also don't understand why she doesn't just do a regular braid after the base of her skull?
I have a hack for getting those suckers out the little elastics use your hair straightener and they will come off so easy!

I definitely can do that to someone else but it's god danm hard to do it to myself since I can't see the back of my head and dividing sections evenly is a pain in the ass.

I eventually did it by spending 4 hours. it looks pathetic but it's my first time doing this so, better do next time.
It definitely takes some practice, it can be really confusing with splitting pieces then lacing over. I practiced a few times before I got it to a point where I was happy with it! 💖
@@AshleyEllix I can do lacing over part, but how can I split those hair evenly? I did it again after leaving the 1st comment since my braids looked awful but it's impossible to do that without a huge back mirror.
How do you make the poofy balls stay up across the bottom where they arent tied into more hair like on your scalp. Ahhhhh that was a bad description. I just tried a pontly tail on my daughter in this method but the weight just pulled it all down flat
Now to see if my 3 year old will sit still long enough for me to do this!

Certain essential oils you can put on the elastics and they will just break off.

I got all the way until we got to the end of the scalp and then you lost me completely
Awww man!! Sorry boo! 😣 Once you’re off the scalp you don’t have to worry about adding any hair. You basically do the same steps of adding elastic splitting hair above, wrap back around then elastic. Wow, that sounds more complicated trying to write it out 😅 sorry! Lol
