Why aren't all the bars and restaurants pitching in to pay for this??? I don't understand. They make a huuuugggggeeee killing on those nights, definitely more than they make any other night of the month.
This is just off the top of my head… Try a combination of creative ideas/events. Open the events to a larger target group. Involve incentives from local businesses for controlled local university and neighborhood events such as open mic, local band showcases, kiddie play areas with watching spots parents to interact, company/business group reservations at a discount, and local news segment (such as this one) for those new to the area or visiting the area. Also working with the community on coordinating events such as for tailgaters for college games and annual events common to the area are more options. Maybe your community tried these ideas already…
$12K for s single night? If it's successful then it should pay for itself, but that sounds pretty steep imo. 🤷
Need better Fund Raising !
