It can. Also, I just heard the thing in a 9+ min sounds only vid (sonicstate) and I was not expecting it to sound THAT good. It's still a prototype, so it will be a like a year or more, but now I have to get it and replace my DX7 in my set up.
We floated similar ideas in the Gearspace forums years ago I believe (if my memory serves me correctly), glad to see this is coming. I hope since they are adding effects they put in an analog chorus like the DX-21 has. Sonicstate has a sound demo now but the player....lets just say he did not show a good variety of patches. 😅
I heard it, a couple patches he played surprised me. I think they sound fantastic, but more importantly I was able to pick up on the character of the synth, so now I know what it's capable of. I gotta say, I want it and it's not even done yet. The wait begins. A year, likely more to go.
Hey Decima1, just wanted to give you a heads up on the Donner Music L1 SH-101 clone and the KB-32M keyboard option. Donner's website has the synth and keyboard listed as in stock. The L1 is $237.99 USD, the keyboard is $109.99 USD and the pair together are at $329.99 USD. You've covered the L1 from in a previous video so I figured you might want to know about this if you haven't already seen the pricing/availability.
Bro that thing was a pos I played it for like twenty mins and was so disappointed its tiny and feels like a 100 dollar kids toy pos and the sequencer was even more disappointing no parameters locking
CS-80 does not use multimode filters. It uses a 6db/oct resonant HPF in series with a 6 dB/oct resonant LPF; very different approach and range of sound vs multimode. [CS-60 owner here]
Everything is a clone if you want to go in that direction. I don’t even own a Behringer. It needs to be said. Companies that prioritize more people affording gear should be rewarded. Not castigated.
When will it be available anyone thanks.
I hope it can load and play all those free DX7 presets and sysex files on the web.
That would be epic

I asked and the said yes
Beringer works wonders!
@0:12 I'd hope Behringer doesn't go to Nahm because Vietnam would be the wrong location for the NAMM show.
Hey; are there any other new synths/drummachines at namm25?
Another DX7/Something else clonation
I'm still happy with my eight layered DX7'S

Looks crazy and will be cheap. Win.

😅😅😅
This felt so good just like a dx7 to me I’ve never seen a dx5 or dx1 said it was gonna be 1199
Is it just me, or does this already look like a 'used' synth before it even hits production.
😂

vintage!
Retro styling … you’re meant to pay extra for that!! 😉
This is a finished prototype so it has seen usage.
Will also have polyphonic aftertouch and digital effects. Still in beta. Available early 2026.
