The Mako was slated to be a "Journalism" ship, kind of like a News Van. CIG even hinted that its broadcasts would be transmitted to monitors and screens (like in bars and pubs) around the 'Verse.

Im once again asking cig to increase the fuel tank sizes for the reliant series. 😂 They're giant flimsy wings should be able to hold way more fuel than other similar sized ships. This would thematically work too because of their mission sets. Tana should be a long range militia/security fighter/escort like in the hull C promo video.
I love my Tana and run all ballistic Gatlings. It’s pretty bad ass. Also the 1SEU box for bunkers actually fits and works great in that space. It’s takes a minute to get it positioned and I usually nudge it in place with my character and finish with the multi tool to get it fully back. It’s sits fine and is awesome for bunkers. I don’t take it out and use it as additional storage so it works for my gameplay. Lastly I’ve seen lots of people report issues with bed logging. I use bed logging all the time but do it on planets. Works great.

How long does the ammo last? I have a huge problem running gatlings on my little Mustang, they run out after one bounty.

Two additional notes:
If you switch the gimbals to TARG-mode and activate free look, the pilot can fire both turrets in almost any direction he/she looks at. This might be even better then having a co-pilot taking control of one turret at a time. Well, if you manage to steer the ship in free look.
Secondly, try to press and hold space bar (with throttle to the max) when taking of within an atmosphere. 😂

I really love the Reliant. I think its underrated. The looks is awesome and the view from the cockpit is one of the best of any ship. Perfect for scouting and exploration.

The Reliant series are very sensitive when it comes to landing. For example if you're close to the ground and you lower the landing gear, you could explode even if your bottom wing was clear of anything on the ground. The boxes that were under that Tana probably set something off.
That and also extremely sensitive to wind. On some moons it's practically impossible to land a reliant because it will blow away as soon as you leave the pilots seat (trust me, I've tried leaving the engines on and turning them off, it doesn't matter). I've been told it's by design because the ship is one giant wing so of course that will happen.

My weapon racks all 'reset'. When I changed my ship load out all the weapons disappeared but I added them back a while ago and they started working again. Happened on my Corsair, Carrack, and Mule I'm to nervous to change them again.

Love that but I wish you could swap the wingtip guns to size 4. It's even listed to do so but only fits turrets that fit 2 size 2 guns or 1 size 3. 😢
I wouldn't say its the best ship in the game. but also i cant agree with ppl who say its the worst or the ugliest ship. its okay ship ya its vertical ship. and its not the only one. khartu al ship is also vertical !

The biggest issue with the Reliant ship line is the bugs... you cant bed log without it reseting into the vertical mode. Then there is the handling. For a ship inspired by Xian technology it handles like a school bus. Sure it has a lot of firepower but that is useless if you cant put weapons on target. I used to like this ship but i gave up on it for serious work. Everything it does the Avenger Titan does better and cheaper.

@8:48 I find that if you rotate the 1 SCE crate so that the stripes are up and down it tends to fit in places a little better. The 1 SCU crate isn't exactly square.

ALSO id Love it if they gave the Tana. The ability to slap size 4 guns on the end of its wings. Balance wise, i think this would be reasonable because of how flimsy the reliants are and their massive cross section.
Them disabling the weapon racks insurance is what broke the camels back for me. Totally bullshit move. If they can claim a lot of stuff isn't the way it's meant to be cos it's Alpha, they could easily have left this quality of life feature there for us while we had to deal with all the other unintended bullshit. I have not played a single day since they took this away.
I couldn't agree more, taking away this feature does more harm to them than they realized

One time I fought a blue and a hurricane in this in the armo of Arccorp with an scu box in the back. And won easy. Missles and high dps and a quick boost

Oh man, you missed a classic Star Citizen moment by not powering on the support seat in the Mako. It's the best support seat in the game. xD
EDIT: Also regarding the cargo grid highlighting. You have to be in the same zone boundary as the grid to see the outline. If you stand in another part of the ship or outside the ship you won't see it, and that's the same on all ships.
